The Scene
This festive place can get a little rowdy, especially in the late hours. A contributing factor may be the drink menu, which includes more than 50 beers and a wide variety of fruity umbrella drinks. Happy-hour prices are featured around the clock. Check out the outside covered deck when dining or just sit back with a cold one and enjoy the nightly live entertainment.
The Food
The house specialty is a moist and tasty "fish in a bag"--strips of mahi mahi in a parchment pillow flavored with carrots, sweet peppers, mushrooms, celery and spices. Paella--a rice dish brimming with shrimp, fish, mussels, chicken and sausage--shouldn't be missed. Coconut-curry chicken is a light-tasting treat: sauteed chunks of chicken sprinkled with fresh coconut. For dessert, indulge in the pina-colada bread pudding or the tart Key lime pie.

What can I say about Bahama Breeze. Great food, excellent service. Every year I visit Orlando, I look forward to dining at Bahama Breeze. The portions are huge. Everything I've had has been very flavorful. The shrimps are a nice size. I really love this restaurant. I highly recommend it.

Call 15 minutes before you arrive and they will put your name on a preferred list. If it's cool, you can wait outside around a huge circular fireplace and have a drink. The food is excellent for a chain. Try the Jerk Chicken Pasta. It was excellent, as was the Tilapia on a bed of greens and a tortilla at the bottom. We all loved it!It's also very pretty inside. We were all adults, but we saw families with children. It's a place that can accommodate everyone, and yet also be a very nice

Bahama Breeze's I-Drive location has a nice atmosphere/decor. I liked their frozen cocktail selection and shooters. My food was tasty but my roommate was very disappointed in portion size and flavour of his entree. We had a very pleasant server, but it took an extreme amount of time between ordering and being served, even though the restaurant was not busy at the time... I chose 3 stars for overall but don't go if you're in a hurry! PROS: atmosphere, drink selection CONS: wait time
