A little ole' country general store serving down-home foods and goods since 1969..
In Short
Originating in Lebanon Texas, this country store and restaurant has branched out all over the U.S. The décor includes old advertising signs, farm equipment, early kitchen appliances and photos which complement the country-style seating. Their menu includes home-style comfort foods like meatloaf and house-made mashed potatoes daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to stop into the gift shop for souvenirs and a variety of knick-knacks.
The place to go for comfort food. We must visit here a couple times a month. I have not found another establishment where I can go be reminded of the home cooked country food of my childhood. Breakfast is served every day which makes it twice a difficult to choose what you want. The hashbrown casserole is my favorite and I get it with breakfast or dinner. I have noticed, though that the breakfast prices are a bit higher at this location than another location (one not in a tourist area). Still better quality and value than other breakfast restaurants.
AAAAA++++++. Always been my favorite breakfast spot anywhere. I dined at these places in Murfreesboro (TN), Mobile (AL), Birmingham (AL), Huntsville (AL), Chandler (AZ), Peoria (AZ), and Yuma (AZ). The menu makes it hard to decide what I want for breakfast. The grits, country ham, and their pancakes are wonderful. That's the problem. Breakfast is served all day so it cannot be missed. Their Country Store is a must-see, too. It is a tourist trap, and a good one to boot, too.
good country atmosphere. We dine at this Cracker Barrel often and each time is a pleasent expierence!
Fun.
The store was interesting and the give you plenty of food for a reasonable price althou not exactly
great. The noise level is terrible and it is very crowded. Its good if you are hungry an wat cheap.
WORST FOOD. WE ATE AT CRACKER BAREEL, A FEW TIMES THINKING ITWOULD BETTER BUT THAT FOOD IT TERRIBLE AND THE PRICE IS TO HIGH WOULD NOT EAT THERE AGAIN
Grease is the word. I found the food, like any Cracker Barrel to be greasey and bland. I guess the large portions of high fat food is what most people like.
blondie. I LOVE Cracker Barrell! The food is just like my grandma used to make. Everything there is good, and the service is tremendous. It has a real "homey" feel. The only complaint I would have, and it's only because I can't eat a lot, is that the portions are too big. There should be an option to eat smaller portions. Not everything is good warmed up.
Great place to eat. Do enjoy going to Cracker Barrel. Every Cracker Barrel that my sife and I have been to there is one outstanding feature is that we are never rushed, no matter how many customers are waiiting.
