ABSOLUTELY GREAT SERVICE! – WHAT A GREAT TEAM!
I got stuck having to move some furniture at the house last minute because the sales rep at Ashley Furniture did not bother to tell me they would not do so. I called Two Men And a Truck and they had a team out in 30 minutes! Very reasonbly priced and amazing turnaround time!
The two men showed up, very professional, very friendly, and very willing to work! They made a quick job of moving 2 couches, 2 over-stuffed chairs, an very large armoire, a nordick track, and a china cabinet in less than an hour!
My hats off to this great team!
Kudos to Two Men & a Truck! – I worked with Ashley - she was great to work with! I work for a local non-profit and we have an event every year that requires a large amount of "stuff" to be moved from our storage facility to the location of the event. Two Men & a Truck showed up on time, and I didn't even need to be there! Everything was just as it should be when they showed up at the site. In addition to being so helpful to us, they didn't even charge us for it. Being a non-profit, we don't have a budget to pay for things like that. It may seem like a small donation to some, but it really was a huge help to us!
Thank you Two Men & a Truck for supporting us and your local community.
Be careful and watch your purse! – I used Two Men and a Truck Orlando (379 West Michigan Street, Ste. 200, Orlando, FL 32806) to move our furniture on 4/9/2009. They showed up 45 minutes late, but got moving quickly. In fact, I was so impressed with the concern they showed my furniture and how fast the move seemed to go, that I intended to tip the men (three of them) at the end of the move. I had to leave to get the money from the ATM before they were done. I had the money ($200) in my wallet to pay them. When I went to get the money from my wallet, it was GONE! Of course they all denied taking it, so I asked to talk to a supervisor. Mike, their supervisor, called me and he advised that he never had a complaint about any of the men. I asked him if there were a formal complaint form or anything I could have on file, and he told me there wasn't. He said he would 'shake down' the guys when they returned to the office. He advised me to pay my bill and he would call me back after speaking to the men. He did call back in a couple of hours and told me that he personally inspected each mans belongings and found no money. Well...duh....would you keep the money in your personal belongings if you had taken it and know that you are being accused? Anyway, basically Mike said that he didn't believe ME! Even though I could produce the ATM receipt clocked at an hour before the job was complete. He told me he could not and would not do anything about it. That is where it was left.
Then when I went back to check the bill, I found that they overcharged me by an hour! The men didn't show up when they stated on the bill and they were delayed leaving because of the money being stolen and THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE TIME!
I know that if I call the office and refute the charges, they will do nothing, so I'm chalking this one up to experience.
I don't recommend this team for your move unless you watch your personal belongings very carefully!
