Great Lil' Bar. It's not a fancy club, just a simple little gay bar. Cheep beer and nice people. Friendly staff, loads of tunes on the juke box, pool tables, videos games, and a big back yard. I always find someone cool to talk to and hang with. Lot's of different aged guys. Its just a fun place to chill without all the snobs you get at some other places in O town.

This dump even offended me. I walk in, go to the bathroom since I really had to use it. I come out of it only to have some uneducated, dirty, pathetic child jump right in my face and demand that I buy a drink immediately or leave Well, I looked at him and told him where to go and left right out the door. Later when I was telling a fried about the incident, I realize that poor piece of garbage implied and assumed I was a street hustler since the place is swarming with them. I'm 45 years old, professional, but with a bit a a rough look ot me which is sooooo far from the case. I will never go back to that dump and sadly I live in another city and go to Orlando often...

GO TO THE OTHER BAR ON EDGEWATER...The outside patio/playspace is way better anyway.

Cool Place. We had a great time at Hanks. Playing pool and just hanging out and getting to know some new people. The drinks are cheap, guys are friendly, and the patio was very intertaining. Hehehe It's just a bar not a night club so don't expect the Ritz and you'll have fun.

A mundane experience.. I have transfered my living quarters to Orlando having previously lived in Ohio. These brutes I was friends with dragged me to Hanks for what they would consider a "good time". This is probably because these so called "gentlemen" friends of mine were boorish and devoid of culture. In any event, I knew I was going to a bar so I put on my favorite pleated khaki shorts and was ready to get down with it all.

At Hanks I was treated only to crude, crass, larger individuals whom barely had any respect for personal boundaries. A couple of complete boors tried to remove my polo shirt that was neatly tucked into my pants. The barstaff were unable to concoct my favorite Bubble Gum Martinis, and believe it or not- they were completely out of Wine Coolers.

I would have found the entire evening unacceptable however I did have a feeling of accomplishment when I fellated 14 men over the age of 60 out in the gardens in one evening.

In any event- 9PM had come around and it would be improper for me to stay out any later.

I give Hanks a rating of three stars, because it is a poorly designed structure and does not fit with the neo-urban lifestyle that I moved to Orlando to be accustomed to.

Perhaps other annoying and childish individuals may have a better time there.

Cheers!

-M
