Best steaks in area but pricy. They have great food and salad bar. This is a special occasion place, but awfully expensive. Suggest reservations for sure!

The fish,sauces,pork and mashed potatoes sucked!. We went to Charley's and the waiter said they are the no. 2 restaurant for steak and fish. I had a pork chop and fish and I must say it was the blandest food I have tasted anywhere. What they lack in taste they try to make up in size as the prtions are huge but so are the prices!!! The mashed potatoes were cold so I complained and was brought some more cold mashed potatoes on which even the butter would not melt!!!

The peppercorn sauce was too sweet !!! I tried 2 other sauces neither of which tasted very good!!! Mushrooms were great, langostinos were great, and the creme brulee was good but the MAIN parts of the meal were terrible. Stick to the buffets more choice better taste and value for money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the place to go for steak!!. The best steak I've had (and I've been to many other "Top 10" Steakhouses) and wonderful service as well. I've never seen a wine list with so many options - and importantly the staff is wonderful at helping with recommendations. The salad bar is great, but I highly recommend the Ceasar. You can't go wrong with a visit to THIS Charley's!!

Very nice employees. The menu said the prime rib was sweet and juicy, and it was. It really tasted great grilled. The employees were very nice. I also found out that you can eat at the bar instead of a table, if you want. I wish I could eat like this every day. Thank you.

Great steak!. My favorite steakhouse! Don't waste money on side dishes or special salads. Just spend the money on their amazing steaks and deserts. Their steak is mouthwatering and tender. The flavor cannot be compaired. And I have tried! My Mom and I planned our visit the restaurant so that we could take the leftovers home to WA.

Charleys steak house, OBT. I took my son to Charleys on OBT last night and our reviews were different. I ordered special of steak and stone crab, steak was not good. My son ordered a great filet. Overpriced wines, 1/2 glass was $9 ea. Professional, knowledgeable service except when I paid by my credit card only received one receipt. no receipt for me to sign or add tip. When I asked for it reply was, oh my god, and ran and got receipts, we had to ask for my sons drivers license back. Check your credit card bill, check the price of extras before ordering. Salad bar needs upgrading, most of tomatos had bad spots. Arrive early, parking lot 1/2 in back and other choice is $5. valet in front. I would not rate it #2 steakhouse in the world.

What a Joke!!. My husband and I went to Charley's on OBT for our 5th wedding anniversary. According to friends it was supposed to be fabulous! What a joke!!

Even though we had made reservations for 8 pm we still were kept waiting for 45 minutes. Kinda like a culture shock with the mixture of people waiting to dine also. Anywhere from women that looked like they should be on a street corner to a couple flying off to Italy.

Food was OK. Lobster was overdone.

God only knows who voted this place one of the best steakhouses... I would suggest to whom ever try another place.

Recommended. Charley's has really great steaks for a really great price. I have been several times and the steaks are always wonderful. The waiters very, some friendly, some a little unconcerned, especially if you are a younger person. However the food at Charley's is amazing, even the side items. And at such a great price, it's hard to beat. And you eat free on your birthday if a friend buys an entree and you bring a valid drivers license. Really great deal then!

I love this Place!. After reading some of the other reviews, I can't believe we ate at the same place! Maybe I was just lucky, but the Food and Service was great, the last and only time I have eaten there. The Steak (their Signature Filet) is the best I have ever eaten. The folks serving us were warm and friendly, as well as attentive. My visit was a couple of years ago, but it has left a lasting impression. I speak highly of it, anytime steaks are mentioned, and the next time I come to Orlando, you can bet I will make my way to the Best Steak I have ever had. I am sorry those other folks that reviewed this restaurant had a bad experience, but I have found even my favorite steakhouses at home, have bad nights from time to time.
