Great place to take your car.

I had a problem with my oil gage bouncing up and down like a YoYo. I took it to several places some made suggestions of several hundred dollars to fix others wanted to replace the oil pump (major job on a Grand Marque). Took it to auto Tender was ask if I had my oil changed lately, which I had and was ask what grade oil was put in. I had gotte the Walmart special 3days earlier. Guy told me the oil was to thin for my car and I needed to replace it with a thicker oil. Fixed the problem for under $50.00. He had no problem telling me the truth. He could have suggested to me other higher cost fixes but he didn't. I will deffinately go back the next time I need something. By the way they now have a Plasma TV in a very comfortable lounge. Very nice place,great people.

Good Work

Should have gone to this shop first. Went to two other shops and they couldn't find my problem, so I wasted my time and money. Took my VW to Auto-Tender and they found and fixed the problem with my AC, and gave me a fair price.

Best shop i've been to in the Orlando area

Fantastic - and I'm honestly saying you won't want to take your car to any other shop after you go here. They are HONEST- they saved me OVER $450.00, the first time I randomly walked into their location, just by telling me what my car really needed, compared to what I was being quoted by another place. They are FRIENDLY, and consistent. I've been to Auto-Tender countless number of times, and every time they have treated me the same, and have treated everyone else I refer to them just as wonderful. Maybe it's because this place is family owned but it's nothing like other places I've been. Not to mention the place is spotless, and I'm not sure what the other guy said about a small tv, the waiting room they have has no tv, and it's a brand new building so I'm not sure how it could possibly be "poorly air conditioned". Perhaps they are mistaken.

Dont Go

Worst car repair experience ever!: On the phone, they were friendly and promised prompt, reasonably priced service. When I got there, however, a nightmare started. My car's air conditioning was failing. It took them two hours to just look at the car while I waited in a poorly air-conditioned room, with a small TV that didn't quite work. Three hours later, they told me they would have to replace a vaporizer, other parts, refill with Freon, at a cost of close to $500. I was told it would take two hours. I decided to wait. It took EIGHT hours. All that time, the clerk kept saying another hour, another half an hour, but the car was not really being worked on. When I lost my patience, they started working on it. Then, they gave it back to me, WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. It turns out they replaced parts that were doing fine and did not accurately diagnose the problem. The next day I went to complain and then they found the problem, a faulty part, which would have cost 40 bucks to replace. But did they fix it? No. They only set the air conditioning to on all the time. I had to go to another shop and pay the 40 bucks to get the problem really fixed. If you don't want to lose a day of your life and increase your B pressure, don't do it, go to an AAA recommended shop or a dealership. It's what ended up working for me, after losing close to $500 bucks and two days.
