The ph # has been disconnected so therefore the restaurant is closed as of before today so no need to call since this place is dead!

This used to be our favorite small restaurant for years--great food, good value for your money, good service, and very nice and friendly owners.

Since the parents retired and the son took over--all the good things changed! The food portions were cut way down--prices up, service was never good and very slow even if not a crowded dining room--and he was selective as to who he would be friendly to--twice our credit card was charged incorrectly, and even when paid with cash, change never given back correctly--or given to the server, as requested.

These things happened to friends of ours also--the rudeness was never appreciated, and not a good reflection of his good parents who were fabulous in every way! We have too many good Italian restaurants to chose from as to take his treatment.

The new roads and construction in front of his building/restaurant has nothing to do with his business dropping off--it is much more than that. Try treating guests better--and get the food back to the way it used to be--and remember there is really a recession--fair prices would be a draw.

Yes, the cheesecake is the best in town, only because it is his mother's recipe, and she used to always cook it!

I would never bring my friends or out of town guests ever again!

LOVE IT!. My husband, step son, and I frequent this place! It has the best Italian food in town! The owner is the chef and has been forever and before him it was his parents. This is true authentic Italian food with all the fixin's!

Get out there and try it! Once you do you will become a "once a weeker" just like us!

Not a good experience. Have visited Cafe Italiano several times before, but this visit was disappointing. The service was slow. My fiance ordered iced tea, which he waited over 30 minutes to receive, after asking several times for it. They were out of bread, calamari and spaghetti. This was our Valentine dinner and I am not sure we will be going back. It was my fiance's first visit and I had raved about it for some time. It took almost an hour to get our food. It was adequate, but not great. The flavor was bland and not worth the wait. At the end of our meal, the server took our check and credit card. She had a ten minute conversation with the manager and forgot to bring our card back. She came to our table without the card and receipt and blamed a different server for taking our check up, when she was the one who had taken it. Overall, the experience was awful.

Great Italian food. My family loves Cafe Italiano. The service can be a bit slow when it's crowded, but the food is worth it. Our picky kids even like it, and the atmosphere is casual enough that the kids don't get antsy. The cheesecake is awesome. On weekends you might want to ask them to reserve a piece for you--we actually snagged the last piece left one time. The Tiramisu is great, too. If you have a large party, make reservations!

It was good but not great..... We went to Cafe Italiano lastnight for Valentine's Day - We had reservations and were seated immediately. Service - wasn't the best - the first thing out of our server's mouth was "the food will take an hour because we are very busy and behind" - not ideal but oh well. We sat with empty drink glasses for way too long and she said our bread was "on the way" then a table that arrived after us got 2 baskets of bread. Food, was good. I loved the calamari. My husband had zuppa di mussels and he raved about it. Linguini pesto was good but not the best I've had. We waited 1 hour and 40 min. for our food. I wanted to try dessert but the thought of waiting any longer was too much, this was our 2nd time at CI, but I think it will be our last.

Cafe' Italiano ROCKS!. The food at Cafe' Italiano is so good that it even managed to impress my finicky Italian grandmother. (And, if you knew my grandmother, you'd know this was a really, REALLY big deal.) My husband and I prefer Cafe' above all other Italian restaurants in the Orlando area, and our favorite dishes include their oven-baked lasagna, luscious manicotti, and mouth-watering penne a' la vodka. We even had them cater our wedding a couple of years ago, and all of our guests, without exception, raved about the food. Try the Tiramisu for dessert--it's excellent!

Magnifico. Wonderful old family owned eatery. Large portions with great prices. All items cooked as ordered.
