Editorial Review for Lido's Italian Restaurant – by Elisha Pappacoda
The Scene
Amid the kitschy charm of plastic grapes, checkered red and white tablecloths and a dozen hanging potted plants, you will find Italian-American cuisine done right.
The Food
From eggplant rollatini properly egg battered - not breaded - to scallops in a white sambuca sauce, Lido's saucy meals are just like Grandma used to make. Dig into family-style salad tossed in Lido's homemade vinaigrette and pull off a piece o twisted doughy bread. The calamari is tender and lightly fried, though the marinara sauce could have used more heat and tang. Save room for the smooth, dark chocolate-coated cappuccino tartuffo. La dolce vita.--

I really enjoyed lido's i it was a small charming retaurant. The food was very good the unlimited breadsticks were really good, the salad was wonderful and our service was great. I would go there again, as a matter of fact i am going to take my husband there tommorrow.
Pros: very good for a night out for two or four.
Cons: I wouldn't bring a large party there the restaurant is small they might accomidate though.

The food was terrible! The management/owners of this restaurant should be ashamed! I wish there were laws against serving Lean Cuisine entrees at a restaurant, and for trying to charge $13.95-14.95 for them. The service was not entirely professional. Back to the food. The chicken in the chicken madeira was cold. Also tasted like it had been precooked (frozen) and simply reheated. After sending it back, ordered something different, the chicken marsala. A joke! The chicken, this time tasting more microwaved than the last pieces, was tasteless. The sauce? A horror! It was watery, and tasted so. It appeared as if it were a microwave meal tossed on a plate. And they want you to pay $14.95 for it. We complained to the waitress and were not charged for this garbage, but not even a manager came by to apologize or ask how it could be improved. (They obviously don't care.) We will never return, and have vowed to spread the word of this sub-par farce.
Pros: None
Cons: Food was horrible, Service was "meh," Management blaise
