The Scene – Amid the kitschy charm of plastic grapes, checkered red and white tablecloths and a dozen hanging potted plants, you will find Italian-American cuisine done right. – – The Food – From eggplant rollatini properly egg battered - not breaded - to scallops in a white sambuca sauce, Lido's saucy meals are just like Grandma used to make. Dig into family-style salad tossed in Lido's homemade vinaigrette and pull off a piece o twisted doughy bread. The calamari is tender and lightly fried, though the marinara sauce could have used more heat and tang. Save room for…
Best Home Cooked Red Sauce Italian We Have Had
by LizP
Our family of four was in town for a Disney vacation and were not on the dining plan, so we ate a lot of dinners out of the park. It was our youngest's turn to choose the cuisine and she chose Italian, after a quick search online we found Lido's and headed over. We were expecting a good meal, based on the reviews, but nothing could have prepared us for the delicious food that was served to us in this tiny, unassuming spot. The homemade salad dressing, delicious breadsticks and huge portions of homey Italian food had us silent as we just shoveled the yummy food in. The wine list was also VERY reasonable, which isn't always the case in touristy areas like Orlando. The next night it was our older daughter's turn to choose dinner, and she asked if we could go back to Lido's! We headed back there and had an equally delicious dinner that night. They remembered us from the night before and treated us like family. As much as I will miss our vacation at Disney, I think we will all miss Lido's even more! I wish they would move to Dallas!
- Pros: Absolutely delicious food and very warm service
- Cons: Food takes a bit of time....so it can be a slow dinner
Unbelievably great salad

I have been going to this restaurant for years and am so glad they've opened for lunch again. They have the best dinner salad in town that is served with fantastic breadsticks. Their lunch specials are always good and the portions are big. The servers are also very friendly and professional and the atomosphere is nothing short of comfortable. You can take your family, a date or coworkers and it feels like the right setting. I only wish they were right downtown so I could eat there more than once a week.
- Pros: Service and price
- Cons: Parking can be tight
