I have been going to joy sewing machines for years. They have always provided me with great courteous service for both repairs and purchases.

Unlike the other sewing machine repair shops in town who give you ballpark repair estimates over the phone joy prefers to see the machine and give you the correct price.

I called to another repair place in town.They quoted me $129 over the phone. I left the machine and when I went to pick it up it the bill was $250. The machine broke down 2 months later. Joy had seen the machine and quoted $199.

I should had left it with joy. He has repaired two machines for me and they have been perfect ever since.

No Joy here! This guy refuses to give basic repair prices over the phone .... when he answers his phone. His hours posted on the store are NOT the hours posted on the website. And even then, those hours are for loose interpretation too.

He price gouges for repairs and is a rude know-it-all. Buyer beware, if you go into this store, your lack of knowledge WILL be taken advantage of.

MY business will be going somewhere else - even if I have to drive through half the state to get there - which I am. I already found someone better, nicer, and reasonable.
