Work that was done !. This is the 2nd time useing this shop ! it took 1 day longer then what I was was told . So I went down there to see why ! And I talk to the paint guy and he took me over to my truck and show me that he was not happy with how the clear coat came out ! So he was going to wet sand it down and do it again and what a diff ! So glad that they made sure it was right befor I got it back ! In the end I leave happy and that is way I want it !Thanks for a Great job !
Never again!!!!. I will never bring my car here again. Incredible lack of professionalism and customer service is the worst. I was told that my car would be aready in a week, on the day of i called to ask what timecan i pick my car up, they told me they dont know we will call me. as the day passes no call. So i call them and they tell me it wouldnt be ready today we'll call tomorrow. the next day same thing. I regret wasting my time with this place
Customer service so terrible, it's almost negligence.
I dropped off my car, a 2006 Honda Civic, for a small dent in the trunk and a cracked rear bumper. I was told that it would take 3-5 days with 5 days being a conservative estimate to cover any other damage that they might not have noticed underneath the bumper. I was told that they would contact me when the repair was complete.
After waiting for more than a week without hearing from them, I contacted their office staff to see what the status of my repair was. They told me that it would be ready in another day or two and they would contact me when it was ready. After waiting two more days, I called them again. Again, they said it would be ready in another day or two. Again I waited two more days, then called again. This has been going on for fifteen days and they still have not completed the repairs on my car. Meanwhile, I am paying daily for the cost of a rental car. If I ever have need of an auto body shop in Orlando again, I will not take my car to Colonial Auto Body. I don't care how good the repair job is anymore. I will not support any business that treats their customers the way that they do.
Response to Review by Dyna. In response to Dyna's negative review.......Ive had many dealings w/Sandy & staff over the years. Theyre great people & bend over backwards to make sure that I am taken care of. I suggest the person who wrote this try keeping an accurate check register; that is obviously where the negligence is. Had you deducted the amount from your account when you wrote it & balanced your statement as one is supposed to, there would have been no problem. Sounds like an attempt to get something for nothing. Unfortunately it backfired on you. Youre a professional? At what, scheming?
WOULDNT TRUST ANYONE ELSE. I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR HERE FOR REPAIRS NUMEROUS TIMES OVER THE YEARS AND HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THIS ORGANIZATION. IM NOT SURE WHAT THESE OTHER PEOPLES SITUATION WAS, BUT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT JUST PLAIN GOOD PEOPLE OVER AT COLONIAL AUTO BODY. I THINK MAYBE THESE PEOPLE JUST DONT UNDERSTAND THE BODY REPAIR BUSINESS. I HAVE UNFORTUNATELY HAD A FEW INSURANCE CLAIMS IN THE PAST. WHEN YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT BODY REPAIRS, ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GUESS AN EXACT DAY THE CAR WILL BE DONE. I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE THAT THERE ARE TOO MANY VARIABLES THAT CAN ADD TIME TO A REPAIR. I WOULD RATHER THEM TAKE AN EXTRA DAY OR SO TO MAKE SURE MY CAR IS RIGHT, THEN TO RUSH JUST TO MEET A DEADLINE. ITS OBVIOUS, AS YOU CAN SEE HERE, THAT YOU CANT PLEASE EVERYBODY, BUT I KNOW THEY TRY
I really had none of the issues others posted about this body shop. I took my corolla here after someone drove into my car. They fixed my car, and cleaned every bid of my car inside and out when they were done. My car was an absolute mess, and I was not expecting them to vacuum and clean everything up inside.

The car did take one day longer than I was advised it would, and they did not call me to tell me about the delay. However, when I called to check on the status they were very informative.
Bad costumer service and bad attitude. I was sent to them by my insurance to do some minor work. I paid them the diductible in March 09. They did not deposit the check until the first week of June. 3 Months Later. Total NEGLIGENCE. They could have called me as a courtesy since it took them this long to put the check in. The check bounced because it simply came in the wrong time. Sandy, I believe the owner, called me and left me a message that I need to pay her. I called back and I was wondering why it took them this long to deposit the check. she started yelling and screeming and she said that I am obiously used to not paying my bills... She has the nastiest attitude like if I did not want to pay. My problem is not the money. It is the Negligence in the delay of depositing the check and the language and attitude used while talking to me. I am a professional and not used to that kind of talk. I will never use them again. I also filed a complaint with State Farm.
Bad Customer Service but Good Workmanship.
This place must get too much business from insurance companies becuase the office staff has become lazy and indifferent to good customer service. After getting my estimate, they promised to call to tell me when to bring my car back. They didn't call, and I had to wait another week. When I dropped my car off, they said 3 days for the repair and they would call with the time to pick it up. They didn't call. When I called them, I was told it would be another day. When I was running late to pick up my car, I called their office multiple times starting 20-30 minutes before closing to make sure someone would be there. The office stopped answering phone calls! They obviously didn't want to "deal" with anyone so close to closing time.
Body shop staff did a good job on my car. The front office staff - they are the reasons I will not use this place again if I ever need body work again.
