Bad customer service... RUDE cashier! – I have been an avid patron of the club and have regularly visited the place frequently with my friends. I have objections as to the level of customer service provided by the people at the cashier's desk. I have had a few bad experiences with that black, obese transvestite in the past but I was glad that somebody else was there last Saturday. However, the aged, decrepit man at the cashier's desk was no different. He was so rude when I presented my partner's credit card with both our IDs. Apparently, he only wanted the ID associated with the credit card. He could have asked for this in a nice, pleasant manner without being bitchy about it. People in your industry need to realize that business comes from the people who visit your place. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the way you treat your customers. I hope you understand that people share their experiences and for that, I would never recommend anybody to visit your place again unless you put in measures to curb your decaying customer service.
Funky and Fun. ANY phaggeddy snotty ATTITUDE is wasted here – Met owner last week during an uncommon choreographe rehearsal in the Discotheque. Man I wish I rehearsed my answers before meeting him and could come across as all "old money" and what not but for 7 years have recognized that everyone who works at Parliament House has an amazing work ethic. I think the guys who do the behind the scenes are the sexy active ones. There are so many theme parties to set-up for and break down. The dancers for the Footlight Theatre have Julliard in their blood and hostess Darcel Stevens isn't worth her weight in gold but worth her weight in DIAMONDS for how she carries the Theatrical situation off with skill & tact WEEK after WEEK (I live in Clearwater and do not know her/him personally nor am I related) Out of town and Never been here before? Stay at Parliament House for extended weekend. Do the Kissimme 'Didknee' Parks if you must but many say they never had to leave the Hotel.
Citysearch Editorial Review – Receive a T-bag dance while drinking a cocktail at this renowned gay resort near Downtown Orlando. The entertainment and lodging complex features six bars, a restaurant, theater, live DJs and vocalists, volleyball court and pool area. The venue is open daily and gets jumping after dark. Boy toys and drag queens mix and mingle and dance the night away under silver balls and streamers or ogle at the bare, chiseled gods serving libations from behind the bar.
SO OUT OF DATE – This place has really lost touch with the outside world.
The place is just really tacky and dirty.............
The price's from the door cover to the drinks, and the bartenders counldn't make a good drink if their life depended on it.
There was 12 in our group ( we called for reserved seating) "STILL 2 was seated here 3 over there and so forth.
And there was NO-ONE in the group that could say anything good about the drinks(Thumds Down).
The show's were less then avg. for Orlando,Florida
The dance floor was "REALLY TACKY" the floor and whole area around looked like a "50 YEAR OLD MOVIE SET ".......
IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE A GREAT TIME AND AT A BOMB.................GO TO THE CONNECTION IN LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY 120 S. FLOYD ST. (502) 585-5752.
It's totally the BOMB and while your there check out the other bars in town "YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS TRIP"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in case you didnt know, the owners are straight kikes! – This place has the hold on the gay scene in orlando. it is OBT which is trashy. The bartenders are appealing, the trash collectiors and bussers are all straight off the trail! gross! i mean truly horrifying! I swear I saw e.t. with a wig on running a trash can on the dance floor! I agree with another parton on here....MAKE YOUR CLUB OVER!!!! IT LOOKS LIKE trash! streemers from the ceiling? really? its rather stale. it hasnt changed in 15 years. come on now....we know your jewish..and ever looking to make a proffit...jsut give some back to the people who are over 21, and still pay your lame cover charge
Always a great time – PH is a great place to spend a weekend afternoon by the pool. Always great people to talk to and great poolside drinks. Go on sunday for T-Dance and stay for the 7pm show in the Disco.
Hordes of recently renovated entertainment choices have made this one of the swankiest hot spots in town. – The Scene
Since extensive renovations late last year, the Parliament House has received a complete makeover and now finds itself retaining all of its historical charm while reveling in its new stylish attire. It doesn't hurt either that the complex also houses multiple nightclubs and bars, live entertainment, a hotel, pool and, of course, a lake.
Enjoy cocktails at the poolside bar or one of the many watering holes located around Parliament's property. Choose from the Western Bar, Footlght Theater Piano Bar (home of many fine female impersonators), Video Bar or Le Club Disco & Dance Bar. That aforementioned dance club features top house DJs spinning the classic anthems of yesterday as well as the latest grooves.
The Bar – The Parliament House by far has the best bartenders in town. Brian and RJ are the best. If you want a drink they make the best. They really make you feel welcomed no matter who you are. Stop by and say hi to them.
Needs new management – The owners of the club just want to make a profit off of the gay community in Orlando. For example, they made a killing (over $1 million in profits) during Gay Days 2002; still, none of that money seemed to be put to use in renovating the club or the hotel itself.
The weekend resident DJ and Light Tech at the club are great; but I wish I could see them perform their magic at a "world class" club with better lights and a different atmosphere.
Always a treat to visit – The owners, both Canadian have done great things for the gay crowd. You must say Hi to Gary, the bartender in the Footlight Theater Lounge. He may annoint you with his "onion ", guaranteed to get you what you are looking for.... do not miss catching a peek at the bartenders in the bar located outside the dance hall. You must see the Footlight Players, especially the MC, Miss Darcel. He is guaranteed to keep you laughing. The "girls", Tasha Long, Maya Andrews, Nazhoni will wow you with thier great drag performances. And all those MEN, all those men. And right next door is the Full Moon Saloon, a great place for bears, leather men and more, and a great dance floor under the trees. The PH offers a great night out on a Saturday night, get there around 9:30pm if you want to see the show.
