In Short – This 50-acre estate allows visitors to peruse the grounds of Harry P. Leu, one of O-Town's most respected entrepreneurs. Guests can tour one of the many turn-of-the-century houses, hike one of the many trails, gaze out over Lake Rowena from a private dock or stroll through the award-winning botanical gardens. Be sure to spend time at the main house, which holds a small traveling showcase of paintings, all of which are for sale.

Outdoor Wedding/Event Heaven!

by MariaMinos at Citysearch

I had my dream wedding here, after a long hunt of places to have the event! I searched hotels, beach resorts and other outdoor venues and this place was just perfect for my budget and for my family and guests (200). My catering staff was professional, and due to the Gardens staff, so many little issues became NOTHING of concern!

Highly recommeneded for a wedding or event!

  • Pros: All of it!
  • Cons: Nothing, this place is stunning

A good place to spend an afternoon...

by ditch at Citysearch

My wife and I have been to Leu Gardens a couple times, and we always enjoy it, even though were not gardening nuts.

The garden is very peaceful, and there're many places to sit and enjoy beautiful views. Every time we visit, there's something new to maintain our interest.

If you go, don't miss the tour of the Leu House (every 1/2 hour.) The best time to go is in Jan-Feb when the Camellias are blooming.

I you want to have lunch nearby, try the Panera Bread at Fashion Square Mall, or Athenian Garden Cafe on Orange Avenue.

  • Pros: Cheap, No crowds, Location

Free attractions

by lavallew at Citysearch

It is definitely worth the admission fee, but I thought this was a rating of FREE attractions. Leu Gardens charges an admission fee which should be pointed out.

Nice relaxing atmosphere

by junglsmasif at Citysearch

This is a nice place to relax and do a small picnic. You will find beautiful exotic plants. If you like that sort of thing you have to experience at least once. I don't care to go again, didn't think it was worth the money.

I loved the gardens!!! They were amazing! I walked around all afternoon- they were so peaceful. It was nice to get away from the crowds of Disney World and relax.
