I just attended a conference where Dr. Birkmire spoke. What and AMAZING doctor. I'm thinking of actually scheduling an appt to have my daughter evaluated while we are in Orlando on vacation! He is a kind and knowledgable doctor in the area of Sensory Processing Disorder. He actually listens when you speak and truly answers your question with detail and understandable information.
Pros: KIND and NOT ARROGANT
Cons: I live in NY, he Lives in Florida

Birkmire acts like a doctor should. He takes an interest in your life as well as your mental health. He really helped me get things put back together, was understanding and quick to act if I was having any problems with new medication.
