So great in many ways....
I've had the honor of going to Shine for many many years. They've grown and changed over the years but always for the better! The atmosphere is fun and friendly but don't let the funky decor scare
you off - the Shine pros mean business when it comes to making you look your best. And despite the salon's hip image I've personally seen an awesomely diverse range of clientele there (though fair warning: prudes might get an earful!) Seth's my stylist and I'd probably pay him just to get to sit in the chair and hang with him (thankfully he also does beautiful work - they all do). I have no hesitation in recommending this salon, and if you're new, tell them what you're looking for and they'll find the stylist that best suits your needs.
Few of us are made of money, so a "good cut" isn't enough; the right salon will make you feel like both your time and money are well-spent; Shine's the one.…
Seriously, the BEST in Orlando. There is a reason Orlando Magazine has voted this place the BEST salon in town multiple years' running. Tony is amazing at what he does. Seth and Shane are experts, and I will never go anywhere else because of these guys. CAUTION: this is not your mother's salon! It is eclectic, fun, a bit crass and offensive at times, but ALWAYS a great experience. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage of choice, but make sure you have enough to share. You will not regret going here; in fact, you may find yourself getting more cuts and color than before just for the experience!! My hair has never looked so good, and I owe it all to Tony, "King of all Hairdressers!"…

Not sure what you're looking for? Let the Shine Stylists help! They know hair! They take what they do seriously and they are consistantly educating themselves on the newest trends & products to ensure they stay a cut above, they have Talent and Passion to help you look your absolute best. There is no such thing as a good haircut....It's the expertise of your Stylist! Personally, I have only found that kind of expertise and that's at SHINE. I'm Shiney!. I've been going to Tony for almost 10 years now and am hooked. My appointments are always in the evening after work. I walk in there completely stressed out, but the stylists are so entertaining that I always leave with a huge smile on my face. Oh -- and they're all damn good at what they do too! ;)…
And so I actually came out feeling 10 years younger!. I have a pretty relaxed attitude about hair - it always grows back - so I have been repeatedly disappointed when over the years I have gone to salons and told them to give me the cut they thought would best suit me, and I have given a bob, without fail. It's not like it really was the cut that looked best; it was just simple and safe. So when I went to Shine and gave Tony the same carte blanche, I was delighted when he started looking through style books with me, suggesting cuts he thought would look good, and gauging how adventurous I was actually willing to be. With thought and insight he combined his knowledge with my desires and I ended up with the best cut of my life. Not only the best cut, but also the best color. It's sometimes hard to pull off being a little funky, while still maintaining the professional look necessary for work, but Tony did just that with my cut and color. Come to think of it, that's just how I would describe Shine - a perfect blend of funky-ism and professionalism! Go - you won't be disappointed.…
