Soggy sandwich.
I've been to Beefy King twice and both times my sandwich was very soggy. I know a lot of people love this place but I just don't see it. Soggy sandwiches is a deal breaker.

Juicy roast beef sandwiches in Orlando’s Milk district..
Take a bite out of a juicy roast beef sandwich in Orlando’s Milk district. Blue-collar and business types to hipsters share a common bond: a zest for roast beef sandwiches. The family-owned restaurant has been serving roast beef sandwiches paired with tater tots for over 40 years. The décor still has a late 1960s and '70s vibe with its plastic-looking, faux stained-glass room dividers, mustard-yellow and brown hues and comfy booths. Customers feel welcome by the old-school sign in the parking lot featuring a bull with steam coming out of its nostrils and continue to patronize the eatery time and time again. For those in a hurry, the drive-thru is another option.

REAL roast beef sandwiches!.
There's no excuse for not getting to Beefy King if you live in and around Orange County. It's easy to get to, great staff and incredible food! Try everything, but be sure to have a roast beef sandwich during your first visit. Be aware that they close at 3 and it's drive through until 5:30 when they close. Also closed on Sunday. I've been going there since they opened in 1968 and it's astonding, though now with different owners, the food has never faltered.

Mission Critical.
There are few places in America that stay true to their roots from the days they open their doors and Beefy King is one. More than a slice of Americana this place is makes food that will not only keep you coming back but also leave you with a story. Theyre SPUDZ! said the woman behind the counter once after I called them tater-tots. Go there and youll know. Food truly hand-made as they prepare each meal heating their perfectly season roast beef on one of two small steam tables.
My personal favorite is the #4, barbequed chicken and ham with cheese. While this kind of food doesnt go with ANY diet, it will make you think twice about moving away from Orlando.

Classic good food near Downtown.
If you have ever been to a "Lion's Choice" you will find Beefy King very similar, but superior to LsC. The food tastes especially fresh and the restaurant is immaculately clean for how old the decor is. Being a college student I can also appreciate the cheap price and outstanding value!

Family tradtions.
My mother first introduced Beefy King to me when I was just a kid. I now bring my son there just for the tater tots... not to mention the orange shakes.

Best Chicken Sandwich in Town!.
I've been eating here since I was a kid. My mom would haul us down to the Rocking Chair Theater (used to be across the street) for a movie and over to Beefy King afterward for lunch. I love the chicken sandwich -- comes with coleslaw on top! You can't beat it! I don't over there very often anymore, but I still love it! A taste of the way Orlando used to be.
