Tips for Corrine Drive Animal Hospital

You guys excel in Customer Service to me & my cat. When my cat seemed stressed (growling or groaning) both the Dr. and the Vet Asst. backed off until he was comfortable again. They made sure I understood everything before they did anything, they confirmed pricing before any ests were done (I was so greatful they did this, no one likes to be shocked by sticker price once the vet visit is over). I appreciated the next day call back that I received from Shelby to follow up & see how my cat was doing. It's nice to know that people really do care & that you are not just dollar signs when you bring your beloved pets in for check-ups. Thanks,

Jamie M

Perhaps The Worst and Most Overpriced Veterinarian in Orland. These jokers are right down the street from where I live which might explain why I continue bringing my poor dog to be treated there.

Our first experience was kenneling the dog for 4-days. She came back home absolutely tramatized.

Next, I took her in after the dog got hit by a bicyclist. They wanted $8 per dose for dog aspirin.

Finally, they refused to provide my online pharmacy with the dog's prescription for flea, tick and worm medication without us bringing her in for another visit. They explained to me...get this... that if she did not get a check-up, then the medication would exacerbate her heartworms. However, she has never had heartworms!

This place is nothing short of a full hot cup of steaming incompetence.

Top notch service and compassion.... My experience at Corrine Animal Hospital is ALWAYS exceptional. Dr. Duprey (I think that's his name...sorry) was AMAZING. We had to put our cat of 19 years down last week and he was just so friendly and helpful and easy to talk to.

I would also like to point out that Tobey, the front desk assistant is by far the nicest, most down to earth, and genuine person I have ever met. She empathizes with the clients, offers tissues, and obviously LOVES animals. This is hands down the right place for her to be working.

We love Corrine Animal Hospital and highly recommend it to others.

Thank you,

Denise H.

My experience at Corrine Drive Animal Hospital. HI, I tried to respond to your email survey but it didn't allow me to type my answers in so I decided I would just write this instead.

Corrine Animal Hospital ROCKS! I am co-director and a Nurse Practitioner at Sajune Institute for Restorative and Integrative Medicine in Baldwin Park www.sajunecom and I have to tell you...your customer service is inspiring. I have actually shown my management team your emails, your updates, and even your "birthday" reminder for my cat! Your staff is impecable in their care and the new addition to our family, Tex, has been treated like gold since day one.

Thank you so very much for hiring the right people, the right doctors, and having such a palpable love for animals. As you all know (and show) animals speak to our souls and place smiles on our faces every day. Their unconditional love has actually been proven to add length to our lives.

The only thing I can say that would have made me happier was when Tex was neutered, we NEVER saw the doctor, not even when we picked him up. It would be nice for the surgeon to meet with the 'parents' the morning of the procedure for last minute questions and perhaps at least for a second say hello when we pick them up. Not that the vet assistant wasn't AMAZING it's just that the doctors authority is different than hers and makes people like me feel more assured about certain procedures. He needs to understand that his 'presence' speaks volumes to parents.

Other than that...keep on doing what you do...we love you guys.

Matt, Denise, Tex, Jynx and Polo Holli

Very Helpful. I've read some of the reviews here; one, they always follow up call; two, there are a number of vets at the hospital; staff always friendly and helpful. Been taking our dog there two years now, pleased with service.

Definitely do not recommend this animal hospital!. I had really unpleasant experience at this animal hospital and I want to pass it on so nobody else in the market for a vet will have to waste their time or hard earned money. I am new to Baldwin Park and was in need of a vet on short notice as my cat appeared very sick. Well aware that I could go to the animal emergency I called Corrine Animal Hospital a half hour prior to them closing and asked if they could see my cat. I thought it would be cheaper if they would see me rather then an emergency hospital. I was Wrong! First, I was greeted with an attitude from a tech who had answered the phone. She had no interest in trying to help so I asked for the Vet. She got back on the phone again with an attitude and said to "hurry up" the Dr will see my cat. What a mistake. From the moment I walked in the door I was made to feel like they were doing me a favor. It get's worse. The same girl at the front desk actually had the nerve to vacuum around the table my cat was on. I asked her if she needed to do this room now and she said they were closing. The vet then proceeded to take me to the cleaners! I left 15 minutes later with a 475.00 bill and a sick cat! $100.00 for an x-ray!! $200.00 for a quick ck of the blood. It goes on but I don't have the bill in front of me. I took my cat home with no answers and today, Monday he is under the care of another local vet who seems to be on the ball. The girls are nice and we'll see what the end result is there. One last thing. The office did not even give me a courtesy call today, Monday to see how my cat was. I've owned animals all my life and this was the most unpleasant experience I've had at a vet. Please do yourself a favor and don't go the this animal hospital! Two thumbs down!!!

I trust Dr. Duprey.. I trust Dr. Duprey. Unfortunately, I can't say that about several other vets I've dealt with over the years. Dr. Duprey doesn't use scare tactics to make you worry about the condition of your pet. I've taken my two dogs to Dr. Duprey for over 3 years with issues running the gamut from minor to emergency. I've always felt better after hearing his explanations and seeing the way he treats my dogs. Sometimes his treatment plans have worked the first time around (he "nailed" it) and sometimes we've had to return to work on a more difficult issue (such as persistant allergies). Revisiting recurring issues can be the case with any vet (or "people" doctor for that matter) because no one knows everything and some issues have to be dealt with through trial and error. No matter what though, I have always trusted that he genuinely cares for and loves his animal patients. Dr. Duprey is a pleasure to interact with. I can't stress enough how annoying and uncomfortable it is when vets use the fact that they know you are emotionally tied to your animal to push expensive testing. I don't feel this coming from Dr. Duprey. Most veterinary procedures are costly - anywhere. I understood that prior to becoming a pet owner and I definitely understand this now: you often "get what you pay for". Yes, you can probably find a good vet that will charge less but I do believe there is a difference between a good vet and up-to-date, progressive, modern veterinary care. Your pet will receive comprehensive care here and it will be worth the money you pay.

This place is a joke. This place is the most expensive and least helpful vet that I have ever dealt with. We went because of the location and what a waste! We spent over 400 dollars and could not even get a referral to a good trainer. What kind of vet does not have people to refer you to? Maybe one that does not have any ties to the community. They just make their big bucks and go home. What a shame!

The Best Vet in Orlando. We recently lost our cat to congestive heart failure, after struggling with another vet in the area who ran up heafty bills and was less than caring. I was referred to Dr. Duprey at Corrine Drive Animal Hospital. Him and his staff, took excellent care of our cat and were extremely informative and forth coming with information. When we made the decision to have the cat euthanized, I was touched that when Dr. Duprey came to take her, he held her and petted her the same way I did. It made a horrible situation easier for us and our kitty. Would recommend him and his staff to all!

Great Staff. I took my pet here and I was greeted by the best people ever. They were a little pricey but my pet was made to feel welcome and they did there best to make her feel not so nervous. The place was clean and well organized. The wait was not to bad they did not make me feel like I had to do unnecessary test on my pet.
