HOTTT. i just went here last saturday and let me tell you... Thick!. I went to this club three time! It was thick every time I and my homeboi's went there. The drinks are strong and good. The door price was in range. But the last night I went me and my home boi's came from out of town and we paid for the $300 VIP section which over looks the club and all eyes were on us! A fight broke out at about 1:30am and we had just got our bottle and they close the entire club! That was my last time taking someone to this club. The Scene
The bi-level club features a spacious downstairs area with the prerequisite mega-dance floor and a wraparound bar. The posh upstairs level features leather couches and a separate
bar, a spaceship-like DJ booth and a balcony. Icon implements a "big city" dress code: for guys, no T-shirts, blue jeans or shorts. For ladies, just about anything goes. When it originally opened a few years back, the crowd was a mixture of the "beautiful people" and raver kids. These days, it's definitely a more mainstream audience and the place can sometimes turn into a meet market on the weekends.
The Draw
Icon seems to be following the trends in dance music, as big-beat techno is frequently being replaced by trance. The club is home to a rather impressive roster of local DJs, though international superstars like Paul Oakenfold occasionally spin here.…
not enough. I have to admit, Icon does bring in some really hot talent, but that is all they have going for them. The only time i even think of going over there is when there is a show. The rest of the time it sucks. They couldnt even keep 3 busy nights in a row when they did their remodel. I went there b/c my friend was down from out of town, it was 1am and there were like 25 people there on a saturday night. that is sad…
