Editorial Review for Cairo Nightclub – by Johnny Damon and Daniel Fuller
In Short
Cairo's true gems are a basement-style '70s dance floor featuring the best from the Studio 54 generation and an open-air rooftop reggae club. Depending on the night, mostly retro music plays at Cairo: '80s new wave-alternative, disco, etc. House music is featured on Friday nights and live reggae bands on Saturday night. No cutting-edge tracks here, but that doesn't bother the college-age masses seeking a dose of nostalgia.

I have tried a lot of clubs out there but I have to say nothing has yet topped Cairo. What's better than dancing on a roof top down town? What I like also is the variety of music - it's sure to please everybody with three different dance floors. My friends and I have been going there for a while and we don't get tired of the place. Try it. Friday night is ladies night (get in free, drink free til 12), and it's hopping on Saturday's. Try it.
Pros: inexpensive, lots of variety, outside

Im 19 yrs old and a female. Ive been to clubs in Tampa and Olando and Cairo was my favorit. I stay on the roof top and dance the reggae all night. The guys are usually under control and respectful... go there on a saturday! The roof is ON FIRE! - Jewlzyk
Pros: inexpensive admission, great music, good staff
