Horrible service and NO MEAL!.
Incredibly horrible service. We arrived at 1pm for lunch and my wife and I ordered 2 lunch specials. We steered clear of a calzone that required a 20 minute wait due to the length of time. Little to our knowledge, we should of ordered the 20 minute calzone because it probably would have ensured we at least got our food! My wife got her salad within 10 minutes, but without silverware. The server brought her silverware another 10 minutes later when my wife asked, "How long for our main courses, we've been here 30 minutes." She looked panicked and said, "I'll go check." Another 10 minutes goes by and we were urged to get back to work, so we got up and left. My wife didn't eat the salad and we never got our food. I rarely get a lunch with my wife during a work day or without kids and looked at this as if it were going to be a pleasant outing, which turned horrible. My wife called the restaurant to speak with the manager and the manager basically said, "We are short handed and got a lunch rush we didn't expect, SORRY." and that was it. They weren't that busy.... open tables and our friends who came to eat, sat at a different table and had a different server and they received their meals before us, finished and left before we decided to walk out! INSANELY HORRIBLE SERVICE and turned a good FRIDAY into a bad one!

Great Pizza Downtown Orlando.
Every time I've been here I have had great service and great pizza. Nothing like having a great pizza place within walking distance of your house.

A Slice of NY in Orlando!.
As a native New Yorker, I'm always in search of the perfect slice of pizza, or at least something almost edible while travelling. Anthony's Pizza was nothing like the pizza sampled elsewhere in Orlando. Could it be NY style pizza in Florida? I was pleasantly surprised to have a decent, tasty pizza with crisp crust with the right balance of sauce and fresh cheese presented to my table, cooked to perfection. The local critics reviews were confirmed. Anthony's makes good pizza, period. I dined indoors with small kids seated at the table. The service was quick and friendly, the food reasonably priced, and a casual atmosphere. For a more cozy or romantic experience, I'd try the outdoor seating. I went early in the day and had no trouble finding parking on site, and was seated immediately in the restaurant. I'd definitely go there again.

Bad Pizza Experience.
Based on local reviews, decided to treat the family to Anthony's. Waited one hour for food to no avail, also server forgot appetizer. Upon leaving, cashier comped pizza. Upon arriving home, pizza was not fully cooked and soggy. Cannot recommend!

Enjoy pizza and people-watching on one of the hottest street corners in the east-of-downtown renaissance..
The Scene
A former service garage. French doors allow indoor diners to experience almost as much light as the outdoor tables. Sitting under the canopy or along the railing makes for the best places to people-watch.
The Food
Italian for the hoi polloi: salads, subs, calzones and pizza, available by the slice or pie. Entrees range from stuffed shells or manicotti to eggplant rollatini and sausage and peppers. Order the VIP stuffed pizza--cold cuts, veggies, and melted mozzarella between two layers of crispy crust. A rich crust, homemade marinara and fresh toppings distinguish the pizzas. Don't overlook the veal parmigiana. Skip the sampler appetizer platter (fried mozzarella sticks, onion rings and jalapeno poppers) unless your arteries need hardening.

Excellent pizza.
This is the best pizza we have found in Orlando. Kind of expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Northerner Has to Agree!.
Anthony's Pizza is in fact all its cracked up to be. Great tasting pie! Not quite on the level of some NYC spots, but comparable nonetheless, which means its probably one of, if not the best in Orlando. Mozzarella sticks also very tasty. Service was friendly, although the food was a little slow in being prepared.
