Citysearch Editorial Review. Urbanites and shirt and tie types pair pizza with espresso at this cozy, cafeteria-style, Italian restaurant right around the corner from Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando. Patrons watch specialty pies, including the All Metro Pizza, Margherita or Rustica or Strombolis, calzones, lasagna and ziti prepared in an open kitchen. The décor is a hodgepodge of beer memorabilia and wine racks set against homey blue and yellow hues and flat-screen TVs, booths and tables and chairs. The scenery might not be the hippest but what the eatery is lacking makes up for with its warm and inviting ambiance.

Best Pizza In Orlando. My family and I love this place. We've been going there for years and as long as they don't change the recipes we'll continue to be loyal customers.

The staff is also wonderful, our favorite waitress is Ruth, she's a tough cookie, but we love her!

A "Must Visit" for FLAVORFUL pizzas, sandwiches, calzonies & comfortable seating outside and in.. Great place to sit outside & enjoy wine, beer, sodas, coffee & the tastiest pizza in town! Using good Italian products, the owners and staff go out of their way to please the customer. Relaxed & informal, an easy place to visit as one person or a group.

Surprise. Thorton park has great pizza. And I'm not talking about Anthony's (Though they are good) But for more authentic and truly tasy pizza, Metro Espresso shot up my list. Combine the convenience (Steps from post Parkside and Eola Wine Co. plus just a few more steps from Summerlin) with value (Entrees hover around five to six dollars and the pizza's worht evey penny) and add a helpful dash of dependability (The place has never let me down in all my visits) You've got a hidden treasure here.

Totally Foldable!. This great espresso/pizza joint is right on Lake Eola on the edge of Downtown and T. Park. Great NYC style pizza! A nice spot for a quick and cheap bite followed by a walk around the lake.
