Neighborhood bistro serves up some of the finest French cuisine in town.. The Scene


An upscale local favorite, this two-tiered South of France-style bistro is lush without being stuffy.



The Food


Specialties such as almond-crusted snapper with roasted red pepper sauce, or thick and juicy roasted veal chop with smoked mushrooms and shallot ragout are among the best you'll find anywhere. Also outstanding is the warm roasted vegetable flan wrapped in grilled eggplant. The duck here is also expertly prepared, and the cheese course makes a good alternative to dessert.

Cocktails


Before dinner, you can also enjoy a good martini and a cigar at Monaco's, the swinging lounge next door, while waiting on your reservation. Metered street parking is available but scarce, so opt for valet.
