Inside this cavernous venue (it once housed a bank vault), you'll find one of the more original downtown bars, along with a moderately upscale steakhouse perfect for a quiet evening on the town. Has an area for live music and a main bar on the other end. Ok on seating, but the sound can be heard from just about anywhere in the place. Nice ambience.

You have to go down some stairs on the street to get into Tanquerays, like Cheers on TV, so you'd expect the place to go unnoticed, and thus unvisited. You would be wrong! This is a hopping little joint for the happy hour crowd, with everything from great beer on tap to the large assortment of fine liquors on the back bar (including Tanqueray, of course). This is also a fun place to be late-night, when the young and hip take over. They have a very friendly staff and go out of their way to make sure you are having a great time

OMG!! I just found this place last weekend! And it totally rocks! Not to busy not to slow... perfect! LIVE JAZZ/BLUES!!! WOW! The drinks we awesome and the bar staff was even better. They have a way of treating you like they've known you forever! We stayed all night and i was expecting a HIGH bill, but it was no where near what they other lame bar charge, Tanqueray's is actually normal to low pricing! Plus my guy friends loved the cocktail waitresses and owner;-)
