In Short – For a real sporting atmosphere, head to Gator's for "Monday Night Football." The cheering can get so loud and rowdy, you'll feel like you're actually at the game. With a plethora of TV sets surrounding you, you're guaranteed a good view no matter where you sit. The food is affordable, and the service is friendly, fast and instantly welcoming. On Mondays, Gator's offers great drink and food specials. The all-you-can-eat wings--grilled or buffalo-style--is one of the best deals in town. Gator's also serves up large portions of solid pub grub, from burgers to chicken to seafood,…

Love this Place!

by airishdreamer

They have the best wings in town and soo many sauces it is hard to choose! I say try the Wingers with Scooter sauce and ranch! Has been my favorite for about 8 years now! They have a special almost every night just ask them they will be happy to tell you all about it.great atmosphere for the whole family. It is Family owned and run and they care about their customers. If you have not eaten there, you are missing out! My best recommendation is to go on wing night(monday) and have all you can eat wings. With each re-order you can change flavors. It will be busy though, expect it and have patience. The food is worth it!

  • Pros: Scooter sauce is awesome!
  • Cons: overcorwded some nights due to popularity

Worst Management Ever

by consumerwatch32773

Unmaintained bathrooms, Can't be bothered wait staff, "Gator Tail" appetizer that is neither Gator nor appetizing, and no full liquor bar. Despite knowing all of that going into it, I for some reason, insisted to my friends that we watch the fight there last night . When we get there an hour ahead to ensure plenty of seats for my party of 10, I am told that they only have one high-top table available. My wife and I can clearly see two clusters of tables which are not being used. We are told they are being saved for the GM's

friends. I ask to speak to the manager and I am sent an assistant manager as the GM is not there. The assistant gave me attitude and had a so what demeanor as I explained how that effected my view of the restaurant. Done speaking, I said "that is all" and turned my back to her. She shouts at me, "Sir!!! SIR!!! I am not done talking!!!" Once she realized I was done listening to her, she made a point to stop, turn back around, and come tell me "...And by the way, my name is LACEY. So when you talk to the GM tomorrow, you tell him you spoke to me!!" I was shocked, as I have never been treated so indignantly in my life at a place I was patronizing. We stayed since at that point we would not have found seating at another location for 10 people. We spent about $300 plus a MANDATORY 18% tip . We probably would have spent double that if we weren't so eager to get out as soon as the fight was over. Oh, and where did we finally get sat you ask? Practically underneath the TV so everyone had to crane their neck to get a good view.

If you don't offer reservations, it makes holding tables for your buddies look very bad when they do not even show up until half way through the fight and it is only 3 of them sitting at two hightops that could have sat 10. Believe me when I say that there were 20 people standing, eating their food and resting their drinks on ledges and wondering, "why am I standing when there are two tables not even being used right there?"

  • Pros: This place USED to be good
  • Cons: I have a feeling there will be a FOR LEASE sign on this building in 2009
