Rude Customer Service and Bait and Switch Price Change. This company blatantly practices bait and switch price changing. This was my first and last visit to the store! I went there to buy Ballet Shoes and was treated very rudely during the fitting. At the register, the price was higher then what was posted online at their site. They wanted to charge $56.00 in the store for the same shoe they had advertised on their web site for $43.99. When asked about the price difference they berated me and said, "They did not need my business or any of my students business." I teach for 3 major dance studios in the area, I will not send any business to them going forward. I say stay away unless you like paying more and being treated very rudely.

A great dance store for many, many years!. It seems like over 20 years ago when I took dance and bought my supplies at Dance Unique. Now it is my daughter's favorite dance store as well. I am surprised at some of the negative reviews and question their accuracy as I have been in there so many times. The shoe fittings are wonderful. It is true that they don't fit the shoes very large, as ballet slippers that are huge do not help our daughters in class and they end up looking like bedroom slippers. I know that it's tough having to buy shoes through growth spurts, but it can't be helped. Dance shoes need to fit properly and can't really allow for a lot of growth. Sorry, but I love Dance Unique and drive across town to get there!

OVERCHARGED and I haven't received the order!!!. Ordered shoes online from Dance Unique. They charged credit card TWICE the amount! They credited my account for the charges. However, I ordered 2nd Day Air, and have not received the shipment 10 days later!

One stop dancewear store, everything for the serious dancer.... dance247 must be one of the dance stores that recently went out of business in Orlando. This store has been in Winter Park for over 20 years most certainly because they are knowledgeable, curteous and helpful. The reason that Dance Unique is the oldest dancwear retail store in Orlando is because the claims dance247 is making are not true. All major brands are available including Capezio and Bloch no one is pushed to SoDanca or maybe dance247 is a dance store that can't get Sodanca. Prices are comparable to other stores in Orlando check it out for yourself.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!!!!!. The owner of this store should be out of business. She is the rudest person I've ever met. She fits shoes too tight so your kids outgrow them quickly and you have to buy more. Her prices are twice as high as other dance stores. She forces you to buy terrible brands like so danca instead of bloch and capezio. Her husband works at their other store, and he is just as bad. Don't take a small child into her stores, it will ruin the experience of buying her first pair of ballet slippers when the owner yells at her.

Stay clear of Dance Unique unless you enjoy being humiliated by nasty people who only want your money!
