Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor..
In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

Make them test the pager.
These guys burned me good on a busy Saturday night. They gave me a pager that did not work, so the hour wait on a busy night didn?t surprise me, but when I went to check on the time they lied and said I was paged over their intercom. So they hurried up and sat us down at a dirty table. The rest of the meal was fine. I called there corporate office and they sent me a twenty dollar gift certificate, but I didn?t use it at that Outback. Always make them test the pager. I know other steak houses have this policy

All I can say is....WOW!.
What a great place for a great steak meal. The spices they use are incredible and the filet is very lean. Excellent vegetables and marvelous potatoes, and awesome soups! Check this out if you want good value for your dollar!

G'Day Mate!.
Outback's may have a long wait to be seated on nights and weekends. Perhaps you can find a better steak at a higher price elsewhere, but Outback's has more than just steaks. Alice Springs Chicken, Jackaroo Chops, and the Fish of the Day are very excellent choices. The Blooming Onion cannot be beat, and I happen to detest onions!

It is a chain.
Chain steakhouse and is a very poor choice for a top rated steak house. If you think Outback is quality try Shulas, Mortons, Del Frisco's and Charley's. You get what you pay for at Outback - very mediocre.

At least find a good chain restaurant!.
Outback doesn't even compare to Del Frisco's, Ruth's Chris, and Morton's. What are you people thinking? Sure, it's a good place to go if you're budget is tight and you don't feel like driving through McDonalds again, but it's in NO way one of the best steaks in town. At least if you're going to eat at a chain restaurant, pick a good one.

Great Value.
outback is a nice chain and a safe choice if budget is a real concern. If the goal is a great steak try some where else. Not withwsstanding, you will have a good time in this restaurant that is to steask what olive Gardenis to Italian.

Go Outback.
Outback definitely has one of the best steaks around, and for the prices (compared to some others) you can't go wrong. Besides what can beat their Bloomin' Onion?!
