Gary Lambert Salon Is AWFUL!

I wish they had a zero star review! This is the WORST experience I have ever had and SEAN must have gotten his training in the back of his trunk. The color was awful, the hair cut atrocious and after being told one price during my consultatin, I was charged $300 dollars for a color which would have been better coming from a box since it was pitch black. It has been a nightmare. I only went because of the Aveda color. I showed him a beautiful color of a light golden brown picture. I was in tears, because obviosly this man has no clue what he is doing. When I called back and told him how upset I was, Sean had absolutely no remorse, said that's the exact color I had asked for. I will stick to my other Park Avenue Colorist, no doubt. This is the snobiest place I have ever entered and the most outrageous! I really don't know how in the world they stay in business. I agree with the other comments, that they must be writing their own reviews to counteract the bad rap they're getting from the clients whose hair they butchered.

INEPT, STUFFY, RIP-OFF AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENT THAT'S THE REVIEW FOR THIS JOKE OF A SALON!

Gary Lambert Salon - Sean

I am sorry I had to give this salon one star, because it does not even deserve that. I had shoulder length hair and asked for a trim and came out with hair so short I may as well be a gym teacher. He wacked at least 4 inches off (already above shoulder length hair) it is so unbelievably short my husband's first words out of his mouth were, "What was he thinking?!" Sean (the hairdresser) had absolutely no remorse, no words of comfort or assistance. To add insult to injury it was a very expensive haircut around $100, however, I would pay 10x that amount to have my hair back. I really do not recommend going to Sean.

Gary Lambert Salon is like having a fun family. You will get to know the whole staff, and they really care about your experience beginning with a cup of coffee or tea to the minty neck and shoulder massage after having your hair washed. Gary has done an amazing job creating the atmosphere that you are important. Gary has a keen eye about what looks good on people and will be honest with you about how to improve the way you look and feel. He and the other stylists are interested in you as more that a person with hair--they take a personal interest in who you are. I am blessed to have them as part of how I live my life.

Overpriced and stuffy

The salon is convenient so I thought I would give it a try. The staff was not particularly friendly and it felt stuffy. Sean gave me my cut and it was just ok. Definitely no wow factor and definitely not worth the hefty price tag. I will stick with Stella Luca where the staff is always friendly and relaxed and the cut is always fabulous.

I always receive a nice welcome, choice of beverage, light neck massage & hair wash, style consultation, and a fabulous haircut. I highly recommend that you experience Gary Lambert Salon & Spa.
