I had a problem with my garbage disposal last week. I received great service from globe. The plumber showed up a couple of days later and said it was not cost effective to try and repair it. He had one on his truck and put it in. Everything is working fine. Great service.

What a bunch of con artists!. Frederick Peyton is the CEO of Globe Home Warranty and the review below him is his wife who also happens to be a real estate agent. The fact that they are leaving reviews for themselves and not stating they own the company should speak volumes to anyone with more then a 1/4 of a brain!

FPeyton and other spam. FPeyton user at the top would be Fred Peyton, owner of the company. So his and someone that sells warranties from GHWC are the only two positive reviews.

The only thing this company is good for is not returning calls and delaying payments until people give up and stop fighting for their already paid for service.

Best Home Warranty for the $$. We have more coverage than any of the other warranty companies at a cost that is comparable and even lower in most cases. Our staff works hard to resolve any warranty issues that may arise during your contract period to make everything right.

Globe Home Warranty Company. I'm a Realtor and offered Globe Home Warranty to home owners & I had a great service that truly & honostly exceeded my expectations. My client the seller had pool filter fail and the pool was quickly becoming a disaster and specially when trying to show it to buyers, Globe Home Warranty quickly and efficiently dispatched a competent and efficient contractor that made the pool sparkling clear. Thank you Globe Home Warranty.

WORST HOME WARRANTY COMPANY EVER!!. I have had no heat since Friday. I called Globe to place the claim Friday(11/23) and I have yet to get a call from a repair person yet. It was below 30 degrees outside all weekend. Fortunately we have a gas fire place that has gotten us through, but only one floor of our home that we can be comfortable in. I called Globe again Monday(11/26) morning at 9am and Angela in the claims department said she would contact the repair company and have them call me this morning. At 1pm I called and got Angela again. I told her no one had called. She said she was going to call them and find out where on the list I was and that she would call me back. I did not hear back from her. I called in to to speak to Alex Peyton(owners son) at 2:45, I was put on hold for 20 minutes to be transferred into a random voicemail. I called and got a hold of Alex at 3:35. He said he was going to go to the claims dept to find out what was going on. It is 4:08 and I have not heard back from anyone. I called back at around 4:45 pm Monday 11/23 and bullied a claims person into giving me a phone #. I called the contractor and he told me that Globe had not even contacted him!! Now I have to wait another 2 days before he can even come! I have a company that is very well known in Central Ohio that is willing to come ASAP. But they are not on the vendor list and of course it's more important for the contractor to be on some list rather than us have heat. In my opinion with no heat for 4 days+ I feel at some point I should be aloud to take things into my own hands and get reimbursed by Globe regardless. I have 2 small kids and think it's ridiculous that a home warranty company would not have the consideration to take care of their customers in a timely manner. Other warranty companies would have had this serious of a problem taken care of MUCH faster! I do know that from previous experience. I will do anoher blog if this ever gets resolved!

Avoid Globe Home Warranty Company ! Waiting for Months for payment!. In April and May I had to have my furnace worked on and used my Globe Home Warranty. The service company was fantastic, however the home warranty company STILL has yet to pay them and they do have an approval code, etc...all they need. Globe Home Warranty has been telling us since the end of August that their checks were being sent out...it is now October 19, 2007. This is the only home warranty company I have ever had a problem with and will not be renewing. Please beware and choose another company if you are looking!

Not Worth Your Money. We started with Globe Warranty in January, 2007. The ONE claim that we filed was for our garage door opener which broke back in July. I opened the casing to see if I could fix the problem. Turns out there was a broken piece in it, which was plain to see. So I knew I couldn't fix it, and I didn't try. I called my trusty warranty company on August 1. Two months and over 1/2 a dozen calls later, they still had sent NO ONE to fix the problem. Can you imagine if this was a furnace??

Finally, someone did come on October 5. As the service man was in my driveway, I get a call from Globe telling me that I had tampered with the equipment and that they would not cover any of it. I was incredulous. I had been very kind the first 6 times that I called and no one came. I was even going to gladly pay for the $75 service fee that you still have to pay, even though there is a warranty. But this was unbelievable.

I have since read on the internet of many other complaint about Globe. Poor service response time, poor followup and an inability to work with customers= one poor company. I would definitely not recommend using them.
