Guests mosey into this green and brown building to find a pub worth in comparison to taverns across the pond. The authentic restaurant and bar combo lends to several areas for dining and boozing, favoring dark wood, green and burgundy wallpaper with floral designs and ale memorabilia. The wooden bar in the main room serves libations, wine and more 20 beers on tap. Dining options include Shepherd's pie, Hen in the Pot, Gaelic steak and various burgers. Live entertainment puts the Irish spirit in motion as Winter Park families, Rollins Colege students and locals mix at this boisterous bar.
Long waiting‎, bad food, poor service
by calgaryhart
Last night marked my second time going to Fiddler's Green in 2 years, and it left the same impression on me as it did the first time.
It took 50 minutes to get a sandwich, which was cold when it was supposed to be hot, and a dessert (the blueberry cobbler which literally was instant oatmeal mixed with blueberry pie filling, warmed, then with a scoop of ice cream on it). It took 15 minutes just get a beer on tap and we saw the fairly rude server 3 times though the night.
The prices are also way too high for the fair quality of food. $15 for 3 small fish fillets for fish and chips. And that oatmeal dessert was $5. Did I mention that the food tastes very plain? It does.
The best part of this place is the atmosphere. The place looks like a 100 year old authentic pub, including live Irish music on some days. But that is the only good part about this place.
Only go here if you want to enjoy what it looks like and want to wait ridiculously long for simple, even embarrassing (dessert), food items.
- Pros: Nice atmosphere, ok beer selection
- Cons: Long wait for food, poor food, bad service, pricey for poor food
Not as good as it used to be

Portions and food quality have suffered. Make sure you call ahead because sometimes they have rock music that is not tolerable.
Still the best Irish in town but only because there are few alternatives
- Pros: Food is good
- Cons: service poor
Thoroughly Irish

this is a good way to do the weekend unwinding- the bar is extensive, and the shepherd's pie is great. The whole thing is very authentic.
- Pros: Good food, nice place
- Cons: there were a few very drunk college kids
