A sort of Thai diner, with a small, homey setting, kitschy purple tables and a few Siamese decorations on the walls.
The Food
Start off your meal with spring rolls packed with pineapple. Follow up with a healthy portion of chicken breast, sauteed in barbecue sauce and presented with a thick peanut sauce and a fresh cucumber salad. Those with asbestos tongues should not pass the hot red snapper, served with a searing-yet-sweet chili sauce. One of the many Thai curries should also set your tongue a-tingling.

Don't expect any of the food that you have heard about - - new owners destroyed any reputation this restaurant ever had. This is sad as we used to LOVE it and eat there really often. I can't even think of a suggestion to give as to what one might like as we have tried many times to find something to like about the present managements food. No such luck and would recommend the nearby Siam Garden or (in the same shopping center) El Potro and substitute good Mexican food.

Having eaten at several Thai restaurants in the area, both my boyfriend and I keep coming back to Thai Place. Their food is DELICIOUS, the portion sizes are LARGE and the price is VERY REASONABLE! You will NOT be disappointed!

As with others, I was highly disappointed when I found that the new ownership was not close to providing the same delicious food I had become accustomed to. The food is lacking flavor and is far from authentic Thai. It's a genrous rating to give them 1 star. I was thrilled to find a new Thai hme for my palate in Orlando when we visited Tasty Thai on Curry Ford Road. Try it.
