This is a perfect place to go to and enjoy a relaxing lunch break. They have hearty meals in here and they have amazing sandwiches in here, perfect for a cold day.
The sandwiches in here are just too amazing. I think I am getting addicted with their chicken parmesan sandwich, I am looking forward to it every day.
I love the pastrami sandwich in here and they have some amazing condiments in here, everything that you may want to add on your sandwich is in here.
Great Food & Great Service ALL OF THE TIME!!.
The black beans, rice, cubans, chicken soup and quesitos are my favorite and what makes it better is the it's affordable!!
Even when they're busy, the owner ALWAYS has a positive and energetic attitude.
Food, service and the people are great which = an AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!
Winter Park's best Cuban food. Food is great, cheap, fresh, and served fast. Black Bean Deli's meals are also surprisingly healthy.. a nice change from most lunches! Try the Cuban sandwiches or the chicken platters!
I love BBD -- Andre (owner and son of former owner) is a great guy. They do a lot of catering, so their hours can be screwy, but the food is phenomenal!
The black beans, rice, cubans and empanadas are my fav.
Check it out -- even when they're busy, I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes.
Seating is limited too, so don't get frustrated. Just get it to go or sit outside! :)
Best Cuban In O-TOWN. Been going here for 5 years and is hands down the best cuban in town.
Great Cuban Food.
I was there the same afternoon as the gentleman who left the last review. I placed my order before he did and received it after. It was well worth the wait, the food was delicious. The Empanadas and Chorizipan were full of flavor. For my patience and understanding I was rewarded with some extra goodies: extra empanadas and the stuffed potato-balls. YUM!
No one was ever yelled at in the 30 minutes I was there. We were politely informed that they were out of whatever it was.
I am definitely going to go back.
snotty, slow and woefully hot inside. I was there on a Saturday afternoon to pick up a quick lunch special and an additional Cuban sandwich. When I placed my order, instead of being politely told that they were out of Cuban sandwiches (of all things) a loud voice shreiked from the kitchen area, "I DON'T THINK SO!!!!. YOU CAN HAVE TURKEY!!!" I should have trusted my instincts at that point and run for the door. Instead I placed an order for a couple of sandwiches and a cup of beans and rice. Twenty five minutes later, my order was finally ready ( they weren't that busy, but had stupidly accepted an order for huge amounts of food which they were incapable of filling in a timely matter -- an order which was filled while regular customers waited, and waited and waited......). No apology or compensation was offered for the long wait. Add to this the fact that the sandwiches were thrown together and the bread was soggy. The beans and rice had congealed into a solid, lukewarm blob in the styrofoam bowl. In the center of all of this was a rock solid, dry mass of uncoocked rice. Three words for this place -- I DON'T THINK SO!
Love it!. I love Black Bean Deli. They are one of the few Cuban restaurants around that have vegetarian black beans and rice and their tamales are delicious! Unfortunately, almost everytime I have been (within so-called "hours" as listed in their front window) they are CLOSED! I am not exaggerating when I say I have driven there at least ten times within business hours to find the doors locked. Get it together!
