Citysearch Editorial Review. Buy the latest CDs by an array of musical artists at this indie-style music store that has been serving the Orlando community for more than 20 years. The hipster hangout is dark and adorned with mechanical and industrial pieces of metal sculpture, which adds flavor to the ambiance. The store originally was located on Park Avenue in Downtown Winter Park but kept its name after the move to Audubon Park years ago. The shop is overflowing with a menagerie of CDs ranging from classical to rockabilly and has a knowledgeable staff that’s available at a customer’s beck and call.

Massive selection, knowledgeable staff and value-added extras.. Part of the Scene
Forget any preconceptions you might have about a music store located on Winter Park's upscale Park Avenue, it's as unpretentious as humanly possible. This independent shop has been a fixture of the music scene since the early '80s, and offers one of the largest selections of underground rock, experimental, electronic/techno, blues, jazz and classical CDs in Central Florida. And if they don't have a particular selection in stock, they will be more than happy to order it for you.

Expert Knowledge
It's the staff and their genuine commitment to music that keeps customers coming back. Under the leadership of store owner Sandy Bitman, the well-read staff can not only steer you towards the latest Yo La Tengo release or Miles Davis reissue, but also selections you might not even know about.

Concerts Too
Worth mentioning is the myriad of indie rock shows the store books, sells tickets for and sponsors--Olivia Tremor Control, American Analog Set and Trans-Am have all been part of this series. In-store appearances, like the recent Stereolab signing, further this store's insider appeal.
