From cookbooks to dinnerware, hot sauces to Swiss chocolates, this Park Avenue store is a gourmand's delight.. The Scene


Gourmet cooking goods (jams, spreads and mixes), spices and sauces like "Pain is Good" hot sauce line the front wall, while cookbooks, kitchenware and coffee machines line the rear wall. Kitchen gadgets--zesters, cookie cutters and food mills--fill the rest of this densely, though uniquely, populated store. Cooking classes, taught by local gourmet chefs, are held in the kitchen area. Emphasis is placed on theory and technique, in addition to a fun culinary experience.



The Goods


There couldn't possibly be more right? Go through the glass door that leads to the courtyard to find a second store. This two-story chalet-style building houses a number of unique and decorative dinnerware sets, hand-crafted ceramics, tabletops and patio furniture. Both stores have a wide price range suitable for both novices and the seasoned chef.
