In Short – Savor a juicy steak or pork chops cooked to perfection on a hickory grill in a lodge atmosphere while sitting back in a red leather booth by candlelight and listening to pianists perform jazz. Watch chefs prepare meals in the open kitchen or catch the game on one of the high-definition TVs in the bar. Besides steaks and pork chops, the restaurant has minimized its menu offerings, which also include seafood, burgers, salads and desserts.

Great food!

Houston's in Winter Park Florida has always been a favorite of mine. The food is great and the service is good most of the time. I usually order one of their tasty burgers and fries and on special occasions I'll order some of their mouth-watering barbecued baby-back "fall of the bone" ribs. Some great appetizers to look for are the spinach artichoke dip and chips and the smoked salmon which comes with crackers and tartar sauce.
The entrees and appetizers are pricey but it's worth it. My only complaints is that it's often very crowded and you have to wait a while to be seated. The service is usually good but once in a while your food takes longer then usual to get to you.
In conclusion, Houston's is a wonderful restaurant and is perfect for dates and other special occasions (such as birthdays).

- Cons: Long waits on busy days, service is sometimes slow, often crowded and as a result it's hard to find a place to park.

Great service in a very casual atmosphere. The food is always tastey and never is cooked and or prepared differently. Consistent taste! Prompt service on weekends tend to be slow for seating and food! Price is worth the taste and quality of food.
