Disreputable and Rude to the nth Degree! Stay Away!!. This is the most disreputable company I've ever had the misfortune of doing business with. The woman at the front desk is rude (she hung up on me no less than twice in one day). They are also dishonest. I was quoted $69.95 for a service to my Singer sewing machine and was told it would be ready the next day. When I called the following day, she had no idea what i was talking about and told me she would get right back to me. I never heard from her the rest of the day. I called the next morning right after they opened and spoke to a man, who told me that he would work on my machine that morning. Several hours later I received a call to say that my machine was ready and that my bill was $106. I just about had a fit. I told her that she had quoted me $69.95 and that I was not happy. She told me that she would call me back and then proceded to hang up on me. Five minutes later she called back to say that they were going to give me a discount. She told me that my bill was now $93 before tax. When I asked her what my total was with the tax, she told me that she would tell me that when I picked up my machine and then proceded to hang up on me again. I am writing this review, because I am absolutely livid. One day after picking up my machine and paying over $100 (yup, the so-called discount was only $6 - Big whoop!!), my machine is broken again. Tomorrow, I'll be taking my machine in to a company that I take sewing classes at and that I know will not rip me off. Sir Vac and Sew will never see me or my money again. Beware of doing business with this company. If not now, you can be sure you'll get ripped off in the future. I agree with a previous reviewer. I wish there were a ZERO rating because that's what they deserve.

Best Place For Vacuum Repairs. Not enough stars for this great little business!

Excellent service, great communication and that little store has everything! The lady in the store kept me informed as to when my part would be in from the manufacturer to the best of her ability but it was the manufacturer who caused any delays! I thought the repair would cost me some bucks but the lady was so nice, she said the manufacturer agreed to give the part at no charge and everything was done under warranty!

Whew, I am so grateful!! I would go back to Sir Vac anyday!

Stay Away is My advice - should be ZERO STARS. Took in Hoover carpet cleaner in April, 2010. Was under warranty since it was purchased Dec, 09 as Xmas gift. Hoover referred us to them as an authorized repair shop. Had to call several times to check on progress - half the time they said they would check but never called back. Said the part was on order. Finally called for pick up on June 16, 2010. Told me the work was a gift because the machine was not under warranty, because of when it was manufactured - having nothing to do with when I purchased it. Said they fixed it as a favor. When I asked for something in writing so I could follow up with Hoover and Amazon she told me they didn't give anything for warranty work. After insisting she hand wrote me a note on blank paper saying "1 pump assembly". After further insisting she added the name and address of store and signed her name. Service man who brought cleaner to car was friendly enough but lady in the office was rude and unprofessional. I have NEVER heard of a business that would not give you a reciept of some kind. I intend to alert Hoover so they will no longer refer to this business. The lady said she had explained everything to my husband which never happened. In fact she barely spoke to him when she took the machine. This was similar to the phone calls I had with her. If you are looking for the runaround you can get it at Sir Vac & Sew!!! Otherwise STAY AWAY.

Dishonest - a minus rating is needed. I ordered a part that I've waited 6 weeks for. 2 weeks ago I called to cancel, but couldn't. I was told "it shipped out the day before" and they can't refund me.

I just called to see if they can track it and she had canceled-the-order because I wanted a refund, but did not bother to refund me unit I just called. When I asked "Why?", she said "you were going to refuse it." My question to her, "How can you cancel shipment when you said it had already shipped the day before?!" Since she 'thought' I was going elsewhere, when was she going to refund my money! That tells me she had no intention of refunding until I called. I need to "Remind" them to refund a order they canceled ?!?

Sorry, I can't do business or recommend a place that shady. I apologize to anyone I may have recommended them to in the past.

I am scared of these people. I have heard warnings about the customer service of this place. I don't know why the owner of my business decided to buy from there. I recall the owner of MY business being on the phone with Sir Vac & Sew months ago and you could hear hundreds of profanities being yelled out in the background. I was on the phone with them minutes ago and the lady used the word "da**it" three times. WOW...I'm BIG about great customer service, so this just disgusts me.

RUDEST BUSINESS AWARD!!. This little hole in the wall family owned company takes the cake for the biggest rip off and rudeness award to date for me. I don't go around leaving feedback , but will make an exception in this case if it will save someone else from a horrible experience with these people! I can't imagine how they stay in business with the lack of customer respect and service. Word of advice; go anywhere, but HERE!! There should be a rating for no stars!

Love this little store!. I love doing business at this store, my mother used to take me here when I was a child. I needed a new Steam vac and vacuum cleaner and I shopped everywhere. I finally found the best prices at Sir Vac in Fern Park. They put the machines together and taught me how to use them at no additional charge. I love my new Steam Vac and Vacuum. The upright is the most powerful that I have ever owned and the steam vac removed stains that I never thought would come out.

One of ths most Professional Service Centers in Central Flor. I have been doing Business with Sir Vac and Sew for almost 30 years and have always had excellent service. I purchase all my vacuums there and always enjoy the family atmosphere. My daughter owns a cleaning business and she is always impressed with the fast service of her vacuums and she says that they always have the necessary parts in stock. Outstanding Job Sir Vac and Sew !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Outstanding service, Outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How Does This Business Survive??????. Looking to be abused by some aggressive owners? Then this is just the place for you! Along with servicing vacuums and sewing machines as a sideline, you can catch some live drama including obscenities being used, sign language on display, and every manner of bad business known to man at the local dump known as Sir Vac and Sew! You can't say you weren't warned!
