Great Place for Tex-Mex. I loved the enchiladas and the freshly made chips. The Salsa is hand made and seems a little on the chunky side, but is good. This is not Pace from the jar poured into a bowl. The food is absolutely excellent. The portions are worth the price and the service outstanding. Great food, great service. I have been to the Altamonte Amigos at least 10-15 times a year for the last 6 years since moving to Altamonte and most of my experiences have been great. I think I can remember two times out of all those visits that did not meet my expectations. The food has always been great. The service is usually really good. This is probably one of two places around this area that I can always make a safe bet on. All of the surrounding restaurants are either good or terrible 100% of the time. I love the salsa, it always tastes fresh with the warm tortilla chips. This is the best salsa compared to any other Mexican restaurant around here. I recommend the Chicken Chimichanga with the queso sauce, that's my favorite and it's always great.…
