As the owner of Sonny's Appliances, I'm
familiar with Marilyn's situation. Unfortunately, she claimed to have had an issue with another dealer regarding a microwave oven. She called two days before Thanksgiving to inquire about us getting her a similar unit and was told the bisque color was a special order for this specific item and may not arrive before the holiday as this was a rush order. She liked our price; we waived policy and ordered the item on her word and didn't ask for the customary deposit because we knew there was a chance of it not arriving in time. When the item didn't ship by the cutoff date,as was mentioned, she became verbally abusive, and even sent her son into the store to confront us. We offered to call her the minute it arrived, but was not understanding that the item was on a backorder status and beyond our control. We take pride in our customer service. It's been that way since my father started in the appliance business in 1962, and continue with that tradition today.
Andrew needs to learn how to keep
business promises, customer service, resolution and agreement and appropriate language with the future customer.. Can't recommend Sonny's until he finishes class.. my suggestion -= go to SouthEast Steel
