The evening we went there was no host
or hostess to seat us & even though there weren't many customers for being a week nite there weren't enuff servers there! We were finally seated by a nice young man who was smart enuff to know the inconvenience this was causing us & he was also nice enuff to clear a booth for us. Our server was nice too & she had given service with a smile like all servers at any restaurant should do! Even though the food took a long time to arrive I would recommend the restaurant because this was an isolated incident. I've been to this location before & never had to wait to be seated but sometimes all it takes is a good server to "get rid of" the bad feeling!

I am glad we did not listen to the
reviews. The food was incredible and the service was first rate. Megan our waitress was attentive and our glasses never emptied. We were pleasantly surprised.

Horrible service.
On valentines day of all times we figured we would give this place a try. It turned out to be one of the worst experiences ever. My waitress feed the next table after us first, took her sweet time, and to top it off let us sit and wait for our food until it was cold!

Performing chefs cook up rustic, home-style Italian entrees at this buzzing family restaurant..
In Short
A boisterous, all-ages crowd of pasta lovers pack this energetic Italian spot, where chefs clad in white hats and red scarves keep diners wide-eyed by showing their moves in the busy open kitchen. The menu boasts family-sized portions of hearty traditional fare, from antipasti, chicken and pasta dishes to seafood, steak and wood-fired pizzas. Signature plates include grilled pork chops, lobster ravioli, and penne rustica with shrimp, grilled chicken and smoked prosciutto in cream sauce.

Not what we expected :(.
Having never been to Romano's, my first experience wasn't that great. Our seats were horrible, having been seated right next to the host stand, with everyone who walked in staring at us. The food wasn't exactly tasty either. My girlfriend didn't even finish her plate because the pasta just had a weird, really herbal flavor to it. I tasted it and it really wasn't appealing. Although the restaurant is decorated very nice and the prices are moderate, the service was mediocre and the food just isn't up to par.

yum yum.
Romano's Macaroni Grill is just like a real Italian home cooked meal.
The portions and atmosphere as well as the singing staff make each visit memorable.
Great prices and selections provide for a never ending desire to return.

noisy italian.
love the food, love the ambience, had a family member fall in the entry way which goes down
as you walk with poor lighting. think it is way too noisy, bad acoustic planning. think the waiters could be more pleasant. all in all, very good food.
don't take old people there or kids

Best Italian Value in East Orlando.
Regularly visit the Macaroni Grille in Waterford Lakes Plaza. Never had a bad meal - excellent every time! Moderately priced.

Delicious...Mmmmm Good!.
This is one of my favorite restaurants ever. From the atmosphere, great service, great food, and awesome desserts, to the opera singers that occasionally stroll around, this is a great experience.

always awesome.
Everytime me and my wife go to a Macaroni Grill we always have a good time. The food is always delicious, I love the Italian singers and everyone is so friendly. You spend half the amount of money you would if you went to a fine dining restaurant and the food and service is as good if not better!
