One of the country's most successful steakhouse empires attracts a casual crowd with huge, reasonably priced steak dinners and a tempered Texan milieu (country music and imposing cattle busts). Wise diners turn off their internal calorie counters, as many menu items arrive fried, covered in cheese, or both. A typically rich meal starts with cheese fries, followed by a blue cheese-crusted fillet. Fried cheesecake ends the night on a note of Texas-sized decadence.

Saddle up and ENJOY. Rodeo comes to mind when you hit the Longhorn Steakhouse. Staff are constantly on the move and friendly. Overall service is adequate, but I noticed another table getting better service possibly due to the fact they were having alcoholic beverages ("Keep 'em coming!). The food was served hot which is always a pleasant surprise. The steak was cooked exactly to our orders that can be difficult since I like my steak rare and my spouse takes her's well. The steak fries were standard.
