Cypriana Restaurant, Casselberry, Fl. Finally got around to writing a review about one of my favorite restaurants. Was very surprised to see the most recent review. My friends and family and I have always been more than satisfied with the wonderful food and service we have experienced on each visit especially during our weekday lunches. Best gyros in town!…
Not worth trying!!. My family tried this place years ago and loved it!! My friend an I had lunch recently and it was HORRIBLE!! We both got the villagers salad, how bad could that be? I found little pieces of dark chicken parts,( I hope that's what it was) at the bottom, the ends of waxed cucumbers, limp onions and uncleaned peppers that were so soft I wanted to gag!!! Totally there was "maybe" a half of a tomato when all the villagers salad consist of tomato, cukes, peppers, onion, feta cheese and four tiny pieces of flat bread! When I told the waitress, she shrugged and said it was the owner...he never came out and asked what was wrong..This mess was EIGHT DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!! She ended up taking about 1.00 off our lunch!!! I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!! It's a tough economy out there, customers service should be perfect!! NOT here!! It will be a short time before this place goes under.. There were only 3 tables filled at 12:30....that should have been a sign!! DESERVES NO STARS!!!!…
one of my favorite places. I think the food is amazing... the hummus couldn't be better! I love the atmosphere - the painted walls in the nooks add charm. Everything I have ordered has been amazing to eat! A gem in Orlando.
Great food esp. chicken and fish, fantastic green beans, in a diner setting. When I boasted to my brother, an attorney living in Manhattan, how Orlando had some great restaurants, he was quite skeptical. After a meal at Cypriana, he grudgingly admitted that yes, there really was good food outside the five boroughs. All the dishes I've tried at Cypriana have been excellent or superb: really delicious. Their fish and chicken dishes are particularly good, which is unusual for a Greek restaurant. They have the best green beans in the world; the garlic potatoes are tasty too. Ambiance, however, is lacking, despite the neat tile floor. It used to be a diner; it shows. Service was good, then spotty, then the owner came and chewed everyone out. Now the service is good again.…
I like this place. not a romantic dining restaurant, but they serve great food, large portion for like under 10 bucks, the service was excellent, much better than many fancy restaurant i've been before.
