Country Fixin's beats first watch, and winter park diner, !!! GOOD JOB FOLKS. THE BREAKFEST I HAD WAS GREAT!! EXCELLENT STAFF, EXCELLENT FOOD, AND THE PLACE WAS CLEAN!! THE EGGS WERE DONE PERFECT AND THE BACON WAS GREAT AND THE HOME FRY'S ARE TO DIE FOR. I HAVE BEEN TO ALOT OF DINER'S AROUND ORLANDO AND THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST.

A storefront next to a dry cleaner and self-service dog wash. The restaurant opened 15 years ago, and the decor, early don't-really-care coffee shop, doesn't seem to have changed. Dig those booths of persimmon Naugahyde. Avoid looking at the rug, covered with droppings by midday.



The Food


Hearty all-day breakfasts and cuisine, from burgers to liver and onions to country-fried steak with brown gravy. The main seasoning is salt. Eggs come in pairs or omelets, with accompaniments that include toast or biscuit, grits or home fries, and corned beef hash or a couple of pork chops. Order the fried chicken?fabulously crisp but not greasy, with real mashed potatoes. The yolks of eggs over-easy run perfectly, and the smoky ham complements any breakfast. Alas, the heavenly hotcakes, available until 4pm, come only with Country Crock spread and tinny syrup.
