Awful and it used to be good.
I just returned from the most awful chinese food I've ever had. We had tried this restaurant twice before and thought it might really have possibilities. Wrong! First, the fried noodles they served as munchies were not only stale, they tasted like rancid oil. The egg drop soup was very good. , though. I ordered the sesame chicken which was a thick goo more syrup-like than anything else. It was hard to find the chicken because there was so much thick batter on it. they were hard, dry and caked in hard dough. Within 10 mninutes, my steak knife would no longer cut through it. My husband ordered the Imperial Combo which was supposed to have filet mignon but had tough, over cooked skirt steak instead. This sauce, although brown, was the same sickening sweet goo the chicken was serve in. It was surrounded by unflavored, overcooked broccoli and that's it. No garnish, no flavor, except for syrup. BOTH of these dishes were on their specialty menu, too!
I love chinese food. This was awful. And the worse part is the goofball who waited on us didn't care. He didn't care one bit that we were unhappy with our meal. And that is a sign of a restaurant gone bad. The food is expensive and in Apopka for goodness sake. It's definitely NOT worth the drive from anyplace.

Great Service and Food.
I was looking for a nice Chinese cuisine restaurant where I could have a quiet dinner. This place is in a good spot but far enough off the path that it wasn't too crowded. Great customer service, my drink was never empty. Food was reasonably priced and very tasty. I would definitely eat there again.

Best Chinese South of Chicago's Chinatown.
I am a bona fide FOODIE and have eaten at Chinese places in at least 50 cities over the years. This place tops everything not named Phoenix in Chicago. I lived in Altamonte Springs for 14 years and this place was ALWAYS excellent from my first visit. I have had many dishes here over the years. Among my favorites are the 5 Spice Chicken, Orange Beef and Schezchuan Lamb, but have never had even an average meal here. This is not only my favorite Chinese in Florida, but my #2 in the Orlando area (Coq Au Vin has my heart). Both have been around for several years - a rareiy in Central Florida. Why? Great Food, service, atmosphere and value. Simple formula few deliver in Orlando.

Good Sit Down Chinese Meal..
Good Chinese food is difficult to come by in this town but this place is an exception. 168 offers tasty Chinese dishes in a nice dining room. The wait staff was authentically Asian and they were helpful and courteous. We ordered the usual pork fried rice, shrimp with lobster sauce and sparerib fanfare and were pleased with the entire meal.
This is more of a nice sit down Chinese restaurant than a take out joint.
