Went there with my husband and two kids. We waited there for 45 minutes before getting our food. The waitress was very unfriendly and did not even apologize for the waiting. Would not recommend or go back to that place.
If you're looking for good southern barbeque, try bubbalou's, or at least a different sonny's location. All the times I have stopped here for lunch I have not been wowed, but at least my wallet hasn't taken too big of a knock.
Stay away if you value your intestines....
I've eaten at lots of Sonny's. I got sick my last two visits here. Both one year apart and both resulting in regurgitation. I can't recommend this location at all. I'm sorry.
Inexpensive barbecue is the main draw at this reliable Southeastern chain.. In Short Owner Sonny Tillman has been serving the same Southern barbecue and fixings since 1968. A common roadside stop, Sonny's offers low prices and barbecue; roomy booths, wagon-wheel chandeliers and homey craft art are the standard dining room decor. House barbecue sauce, available sweet, regular or hot, spices up large helpings of smoked beef, pork, chicken, turkey and ribs. Sides like fresh fried okra, onion rings and barbecue beans complement the entrees.
