1950s diner fries up fast-food classics 24 hours a day.. In Short
Entering the clean, bright interior is like stepping into an "Archie" comic book. Hurrying across white- and black-checkered floors, staff in crisp white shirts and paper hats take orders, polish chrome and shuffle between booths and the full-service counter. Middle-American diner standards dominate the menu--pickle-covered steak burgers, chili cheeseburgers and thick shakes. Healthier options include chicken, chef and taco salads.

Not good after hours. The food is always good; but at this location, there always seems to be a lot of teenagers late at night. It gets pretty rowdy, so if you're looking hassle-free late night eats, go to the Denny's next door.

Made To Order When You Order. I was waited by friendly staff and seated promptly. But it took so long to receive our food that I had to get up and make sure everything was ok. Don't think that the drive though is faster. As me and a friend where coming home one night, we decided to stop there We made our order and waited. While waiting I received a phone call, when I finished, I noticed that the cell timer read 20 mins. By that time we had paid our money. Then another 10 mins. At the window, I pointed out to my friend a sign inside, "Made To Order When You Order!". I figured that they had the time to milk the cow, add sugar and cream, freeze it into ice cream, and add our toppings! My suggestion, try Sonic. Fast, Friendly, and awesomefood. Plus the chicks come out to the car on skates!

It be wondershein!. Steak N Shake has always had very good food for the fast food niche they have chosen to compete in. They are one step above the others by not using paper or plastic inside the restaurant, the food is freshly cooked and in every instance I have been inside their establishment it was always clean.

extra juicy. single portion a little skimpy, but no one orders a single burger, Unique flavor as judged by comparing competators burgers ordered plain, if you have the intestinal fortitude. Competators offer everything form recycled cardboard to hockey puck consistancy. Absolute best choice when available. French Fries get cold quickly. Other selections simple, yet tasty. Great economy.
