Horrible Hotel. This past week my family and I stayed at Candlewood Suites for spring break. Very upset with this hotel. The pictures they have online are very misleading. The room was supposed to have been a suite. It was not the size a suite should be. The bed was supposed to be a queen sized bed, yet it felt like a full size bed. The room smelled of smoke. That smell was in our clothes. The carpet was filthy. In order to get clean towels, we had to take our unclean towels to the front desk and turn them in. The kids were in the swimming pool and noticed a roach was floating in the pool. I've never experienced this before and pray I never will again. This was the worst hotel ever. I called corporate who in turn said it was up to the hotel to compensate me which I thought was rather odd. I mean you're corporate, you have the authority to right this wrong. My family and I stayed out all day because we didn't want to be in the hotel room no longer than we had to. I will NEVER, EVER STAY AT CANDLEWOOD SUITES AGAIN. It made our trip miserable. I gave it one star, however, it's not even worthy of that.

Each suite is equipped with a TV, VCR, CD player, hair dryer, ironing board, recliner, executive-sized desk, two separate phone lines, a full-sized refrigerator and a dishwasher.
