Family Experienced Discrimination 12/18/2010!. would rate this business "less than 0" if it were available:

Today my 6 year old Grandson and his Dad, and Mom (my Daughter) went into "Cal's" to get my Grandson's hair trimmed. My Daughter and I have taken him there before, since I live close in the village of Caroline. Each time we have been there, Sherry Lynn cut my Grandson's hair. I could not have asked her to be more gracious and friendly.

Today, however, no one including Sherry even acknowledged my Grandson and his parents were in the shop. Since my Grandson's Father is dark skinned (East Indian) we suspect he and his family just had their "first experience" with discrimination in a very large dose. My suspicions are evidenced by the fact that the other times we have taken my Grandson for a hair cut we have been treated with the utmost respect--we are white (Caucasian).

If you are an American and belive that all men [people] are created equal, I would strongly urge you to walk-on-by Cal's Barbershop and go to one where you or your family member will not be surprised with being treated as second class or less citizens.
