Tips for Les Chefs de France

March 11, 2013

Les Chefs de France serves quality standard French dishes with great service and a sophisticated staff sometimes missing in other WDW places. I find this restaurant superior to its upstairs neighbor and the three-course meal is a good choice because you get four to five choices at each serving.

What was new on this trip was Les Chefs has a delightful treat for kids and adults alike. An attractive French woman wheels a serving cart around the room and when she lifts the lid - there is Remy the Rat from the film Ratatouille. Remy moves and talks, but won't give out menu suuggestions.

expensive but good. If you like french onion soup, this is the place and nice crusty rolls. It's a bit expensive so save your money up, but enjoyable.

Great food, poor ambience. The food was great, service was great, but the restaurant was very crowded and noisy. We were seated practically elbow to elbow alongside other guests and could hear every bit of their conversation. For the price you pay, I would expect better ambience.

Excellent Experience. My husband and I went to Epcot for the food and wine festival but with the crowds and per-item pricing we decided to take a detour. Les Chefs de France was perfect. Even with the crowds we were seating right away and the restaurant has a cozy feel. The food and wine were great.

A sophisticated dining experience plopped in the middle of a theme park.. The Scene
Theme park dining takes on a new guise with this elegant French creation in Epcot. A warm, wood-infused dining area is crowded but sophisticated--although windows overlooking the park's thoroughfare detract from the French fantasy (read: the view captures gawking tourists, not the Eiffel Tower). As one of Epcot's most expensive restaurants, diners rightly expect excellent service--and don't leave disappointed.

The Food
With a menu spanning a wide array of entrees, you can't go wrong with the Le Filet de Boeuf Grille--a grilled beef tenderloin with a Cabernet Sauvignon sauce, or the grilled salmon served on fennel and artichoke hearts. Desserts are also fabulous here, especially the warm spiced apple tart.

Ooh - la, la!. This was the best dining experience we had in all of Epcot...the people were friendly, attentive and the food was very good. As they say in French - "c'est delicieux" (delicious).

This was actually worth the suggested tip (which we think is rude to put in writing but anyway)...so we left 20%!

The food came out to us in a reasonable amount of time and was nicely prepared and a proper temperature.

Don't bother with Italy, stay in France for the evening!!
