Editorial Review for Cantina de San Angel – by Kristine Forrest
The Scene
Strictly an outdoor cafe, this eatery by Epcot's Mexico Pavilion is quick, inexpensive and surprisingly relaxing. Most of the tables are shaded by large umbrellas--and the cantina's spot beside the lagoon practically guarantees a cool breeze. Grab a waterside table for gorgeous views--and a great place to people-watch.
The Food
There aren't any surprises on the menu, which might disappoint Epcot visitors who come to sample exotic food unfamiliar to most tastebuds. Instead, Cantina de San Angel offers average burrito-and-nacho fare. If the food doesn't tempt you, at least order a margarita and indulge in a leisurely escape.

While it is nice to find something a little on the exotic side at a Disney park, La Cantina isn't breaking any ground in the genre. Still it is nice to sit in the shade near the water and relax with some nachos. They also have Dos Equis on draught here. Way overpriced though, which is the norm for Disney. Also, make sure to come when it is off-peak for meals times or you are going to wait, which is also the norm.
Cons: Expensive
