The Skinny
CityWalk's Universal Studios Store takes a surprisingly modest approach to corporate merchandising. Whereas Disney's World of Disney (in Downtown Disney) boasts more than 50,000-square-feet of floor space, Universal's namesake shop feels no larger than than your run-of-the-mill 7-11. (It does feature one of CityWalk's flashier exteriors, however.) Guests can peruse a tasteful collection of theme-park clothing, jewelry, stuffed animals, collector's items, CDs, DVDs, and more¿with everything proudly baring the Universal logo. Not as flashy as you'd expect, but it certainly gets the job done. Plus, it offers a pleasant diversion from CityWalk's frequent hustle and bustle.
