A Time Warp Into The 1950's. People either love Prime Time or dislike it. The reason you take the kids is to enjoy the realistic 1950's kitchens that fill the place and to interact with the waitresses who talk like a sit-com Mother.

If you don't like people warning you to eat your vegetables, we think you better find another restaurant.

Prime Time serves comfort food at somewhat uncomfortable prices. Few will complain about the meat loaf (pretty good), fried chicken, and pot roast. There is not a great price differential between lunch and dinner so choose your poison.

I never liked smores. I thought it was a sticky goo of marshmellow and chocolate. But I ate all my food and got to eat a nice big sundae. It was like childhood until my restaurant "Mom" gave me the bill for the meal.

lots of fun. If you want to go back in time and enjoy a meal, this is the place. You step into the fifties the minutes you cross the door way. Food is good, service is good and lots of laughs.

A '50s cafe that serves Mom-inspired food--and Mom-inspired attitude.. The Scene
Lunchtime gets boisterous at this fun, feisty cafe situated in the heart of MGM. Not only will diners be delighted with the cute '50s decor, they'll also be surprised to discover that they didn't really leave Mom at home--the cafe's servers will nag you to eat your vegetables and get your elbows off the table. This is a restaurant where you play along.

The Food
The essence of comfort food reigns here: meatloaf, pot roast and chicken dinners fit the '50s theme perfectly. For dessert, order a fabulous milkshake or a s'more.

Wonderful!!!. We always eat here when we go to MGM. My 5 year old loves the fact that the waitresses are dressed up in 50's costumes and always in character. They dote on him every time we're there and make him feel really special. Make sure you request a booth when making a reservation or you might get stuck at a simple table. The booth is half the fun! It's a little pricey, but a splurge that's well worth it. The food is wonderful. Try the S'mores, there's enough for the whole family to share.

A Dining Experience Like NO Other!!!!. The '50s Prime Time Cafe was definitely a unique experience. The atmosphere is kind of campy but that's half the fun. I don't know of anywhere else that you can find such a fun time. Even if you aren't old enough to remember the 50's, you can still appreciate this dining experience. As with all Disney attractions, this resturant is heavy on detail, from the 50s style furniture to the 50s sitcom clips that are shown on the dated television sets. This is definitely a worth while experience.
