Bad, Bad, Bad.... I arrived at the restaurant at around 7pm and was promptly seated, which was very nice for a hibachi-style restaurant. The restaurant was pretty empty that night. Anyways, everything was going well until the chef showed up. He didn't seem enthusiastic and was quite unfunny. His chef skills were mediocre and the food wasn't great. I've been to a few teppanyaki restaurants and this one, by far, is the worst teppanyaki place I've been to.
Wow your friends and taste buds!!. This is my all time favorite place in Orlando. It has the best white sauce and prices. Lunch is the best time to because it is less crowed and very cheap. They are closed and I want them to come back soon! Hurry Im starving.
closed. wow, what can i say.... their food was good while it lasted. unfortunately, they have been closed for a few months now.
Kanpai was AMAZING!. There was great service and the cooks where really friendly. We came as a HUGE group and we had so much fun. If I ever go back to Orlando, I will definitely make another visit to Kanpai!
Good entertainment, great food, great service - and reasonably priced.. I had just moved to Orlando and I looked everywhere for a decent japanese place to eat. Although i wouldnt recommend the sushi here - I do the habachi grill. Get a group of friends and make a night out of it. You're greeted by a very friendly hostess or host depending on the night you go. The wait is sometimes a half hour at most - As soon as youre sat down the waiter comes over for drink orders. The filet and shrimp is my favorite. After ordering they bring over the soup, and then the salad, which has the best ginger dressing i've had. The chefs all speak english and if you tell them it's your first time - you'll surely in for a treat. the free shrimp appetizer, the veggies and the steak or shrimp or chicken is always cooked to perfection and its taste...is delicious...yummy....Sherbert to finish off the meal. And if you make it before 630p - you get the early bird price 12.95 w/ a minimal menu of course -but not a bad one - you can upgrade for a small fee. Enjoy!
This restaurant is ok. The big cost in a Japanese steak house is the "show" the cook puts on. In this case, the show was ok, but not worth the money. The shrimp was good, but overcooked. the steak and chicken were too highly salted. Don' bring children to this restaurant because they pay the same as adults and they don't eat enough.
